Barber Shop Uncut Slot Overview
Barber Shop Uncut invites you into the classic barbershop of Monsieur Stache. It’s the go-to spot for anyone who needs a good shave and a relaxing break. The game comes from Thunderkick, the Swedish studio known for quirky, cartoon-style slots.
It also has a clever twist. Instead of five standard reels, every position on the grid spins on its own. That gives you 15 separate reels and 40 paylines, along with locking re-spins, free spins and Thunderkick’s Inwinity Spin.

Theme and Design
Barber Shop Uncut has a warm, old-fashioned feel. You’re sitting in a traditional barbershop, ready for a short back and sides and a little pampering. Accordion music plays in the background, giving the game a relaxed, French café mood.
The cartoon graphics are packed with nice little details. The symbols include barber’s tools, such as scissors, a shaving brush, a comb, shaving foam and a cut-throat razor. There are also five quirky customers, each with a very different moustache or beard.
When you land a win or a re-spin, a cheerful harmonica tune kicks in. As a result, the game feels lively without ever being too noisy.
Barber Shop Uncut is a good example of Thunderkick’s style: a simple, funny idea brought to life with great artwork and smart features.
How to Play Barber Shop Uncut
At first glance, Barber Shop Uncut looks like a normal 5-reel slot. However, each of the 15 positions on the grid is its own mini reel. This matters because it lets winning symbols lock in place while the rest spin again.
To play, choose your bet and press spin. You win by lining up matching symbols from left to right across any of the 40 paylines. Bet limits are set by each casino, so check the range where you play.
There’s also an AutoPlay option. It spins the reels automatically for a number of rounds you choose, so you can sit back and watch.
No Wilds or Scatters
Barber Shop Uncut doesn’t have the usual Wild or Scatter symbols. Instead, it relies on its re-spins and Bonus symbols to create big wins. This makes it a bit different from most slots, and it keeps the gameplay feeling fresh.
Locking Re-Spins
The re-spin feature is the heart of this slot. Whenever you land a win, the winning symbols lock into place. Then the other reels spin again to try to add more matching symbols.
If the re-spin creates a new win, those symbols lock too, and you get another re-spin. This carries on until no new wins appear, or until there are no reels left to spin. In addition, a multiplier grows as the re-spins continue, so each new win can be worth more than the last.
Free Spins Bonus Game
Barber Shop Uncut also has a Bonus game with free spins. To trigger it, land enough Barber Shop Bonus symbols on the reels.
During the free spins, your wins get a multiplier boost. Landing more Bonus symbols can also add extra free spins to your total. Because the locking re-spins still work during the bonus, this is where the game’s biggest wins usually come from.
Inwinity Spin
Like many Thunderkick slots, Barber Shop Uncut includes the Inwinity Spin. It kicks in after your last free spin. If that spin doesn’t land a win, the reels keep spinning until one does.
In other words, the bonus always ends with a win. It’s a nice safety net, especially if the free spins haven’t gone your way.
RTP and Volatility
Barber Shop Uncut has an RTP of 97.0%, which is well above the average for online slots. RTP stands for “return to player”. It’s the share of all bets a slot pays back over millions of spins. For example, a 97% RTP means the game pays back around $97 for every $100 bet over the long run.
Thunderkick rates the game as medium volatility. This means you can expect a fair mix of regular smaller wins and occasional bigger ones. The top prize is 2,355x your bet. If you like high-RTP games, see our list of the best paying slots.
Playing on Mobile
Barber Shop Uncut runs smoothly on phones and tablets. You can play it in your browser, with nothing to download. The cartoon graphics look great on a small screen, and the controls are easy to use.
