The highly animated, intensely graphic games represent some of the more advanced titles in the industry, backed by strong algorithms and turnkey support solutions. Stakelogic software is built using SSL-coding technology to protect players’ personal information from fraud. Its Slots 360° technology and in-house MOBi mobile gaming platform continue to set the studio’s games apart from much of the competition, and the team remains focused on building long-term relationships with operator partners.

How Many Games Does Stakelogic Have?

Stakelogic’s portfolio has grown well beyond its early years, now exceeding 270 games and continuing to expand with regular new releases. The lineup spans classic fruit machine-style slots, modern video slots, Megaways titles, and live casino content, with rewarding bonus features, free spins, multipliers, and jackpots built into many of the games.

Editor’s Note: Stakelogic’s ownership has changed significantly since its founding. Novomatic sold Stakelogic to outside investors around 2018, meaning it’s no longer a Greentube or Novomatic subsidiary as it once was. In 2024, Stakelogic was acquired by Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese entertainment group. The studio has also expanded into live casino content following its acquisition of Smart&Applied and Hurricane Games, and picked up a UK Gambling Commission licence as a software supplier in 2019.

How Did Stakelogic Begin?

Novomatic and Greentube announced the launch of Stakelogic in February 2015, with Stephan van den Oetelaar appointed as CEO. Stephan brought over 25 years of IT experience to the role, helping steer the studio through its early growth. Stakelogic was established under a fresh name, giving experienced, talented staff the space to create technologically advanced games for the 3D and HTML5 mobile market.

In January 2016, Stakelogic presented 17 new games at the ICE exhibition, all available in Instant Play format and ready for integration in over 29 languages. The following month, Stakelogic launched its first branded game, Football Gladiators, across desktop, mobile, and land-based operators. In March 2016, the studio agreed a content partnership with the Unibet Group, placing Stakelogic games across Unibet’s platforms, followed by an agreement with Leander Games in May 2016 to roll out its games via the LeGa RGS platform. In June 2016, Stakelogic was awarded a licence by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), giving it the ability to handle licensing for its business partners directly, and in August 2016 the studio partnered with Betsson Casino as a content supplier.

The years since have seen Stakelogic grow further still: a distribution partnership with Relax Gaming in 2018, a UK Gambling Commission licence in 2019, a branded slots partnership with Skyrocket Entertainment in 2020, and its move into live casino content in 2021 following the acquisition of Smart&Applied and Hurricane Games. That growth culminated in Sega Sammy’s acquisition of the studio in 2024.

What Type of Slots and Games Does Stakelogic Offer?

Stakelogic develops some of the most highly animated slots on the market, built with a wide range of modern features including bonus symbols, big win multipliers, super spins, reel upgrades, two-way combinations, and wilds. The retro-themed 3-reel slots bring their own personality too, with features like a double set of 3-reels and mystery wins. The 5-reel video slots lean further into the studio’s signature style, with impressive themes and stunning 3D animation built around a unique narrative.

Stakelogic also produces branded content such as Darts Heroes and Hardwell, a music-themed slot inspired by the famous DJ. Slots 360° remains one of the studio’s most distinctive technologies, letting games be viewed from a full 360-degree perspective for a genuinely immersive playing experience where the depth and richness of the animation is enhanced considerably.

Across the catalogue, Stakelogic’s games are known for well-executed graphics, strong design work, and inspired themes spanning ancient history, horror, magic, mystery, superheroes, and tropical adventure.

Does Stakelogic Offer a Progressive Jackpot?

Yes. Several Stakelogic titles include progressive jackpot mechanics, with four different game modes plus a SuperBet mode. Grand Slam Deluxe, for example, combines classic slot mechanics with the studio’s SuperBet feature. Offering mystery prizes alongside progressive jackpot action. Turbo4Player Jackpot runs across 108 paylines with its own progressive jackpot. While Joker4Wild features a progressive jackpot with guaranteed minimum and maximum payouts, plus a fifth Wild Superbet mode.

Does Stakelogic Have a Mobile Platform?

Mobile gaming remains central to Stakelogic’s development strategy. MOBi, the studio’s in-house mobile gaming line, delivers an enhanced player experience that matches the quality and innovation of the browser-based games. Mobile titles release simultaneously with their desktop counterparts, so mobile players never experience a delay. MOBi games are built on HTML5 technology and optimised for mobile devices, with support across Android, iOS, and Windows.
