Funfair Ride Slot Overview
Funfair Ride is a summer fairground slot from SkillOnNet. It takes you to a busy funfair, full of rides, games and sweet treats. Bumper cars, a little train and cotton candy all appear on the reels.
The game has a fun twist. It switches between two modes: a sunny Day mode and a brighter Night mode. Our original review said the Night mode is where the bigger prizes are.
Funfair Ride plays on 5 reels with 10 paylines. Our original review listed expanding wilds, three fairground bonus games, free spins and a progressive jackpot.

Theme and Design
Funfair Ride captures the fun of a summer day at the fair. Our original review praised the 3D images of the rides. The bright colours and cheerful sounds bring back childhood memories.
The symbols are all fairground favourites. You’ll see entrance tickets, cotton candy, sodas, mirrors, bumper cars and a train. Balloon and duck shooting games appear too, along with the fair owner himself.
Paylines and Betting
Funfair Ride has 10 paylines across 5 reels. That’s a small number compared with modern slots, so each line counts.
Our original review listed coin values from 0.25 up to 10 per payline. The maximum bet was 100 per spin. SkillOnNet doesn’t publish the RTP online, so check the help screen at your casino.
Funfair Ride Symbols
Our original review listed these symbols:
- Wild torch: expands to cover the whole middle reel.
- Fair owner: a special character symbol.
- Bumper cars and train: fairground ride symbols.
- Balloon shoot and duck shoot: fairground game symbols.
- Entrance tickets, cotton candy, sodas and mirrors: the other regular symbols.
- Gift box: opens the fairground bonus games.
Funfair Ride Bonus Features
Funfair Ride has several features, according to our original review.
Expanding Wild
The wild appears on the middle reel. When it lands, it expands to cover the whole reel. One big wild in the middle can link up wins across all 10 paylines.
Fairground Bonus Games
Land 3 or more gift box symbols to visit the fairground games. Our original review listed three: Duck Shoot, Balloon Shoot and Strong Man.
In these games, you can win cash prizes. Landing 3 or more scatters inside them can also award free spins.
Free Spins
Three or more scatters trigger the free spins. Our original review said you can win 5, 10 or 15 free spins.
Day Mode and Night Mode
The game has two modes. Our original review said the Day mode offers the normal rounds. Land 3 or more Night mode symbols to switch to Night mode.
In Night mode, the boss symbol can multiply wins by 3x when it’s part of a win. Three or more clown symbols open the Big Wheel Nightly Jackpot bonus. You spin the wheel and win the prize it lands on.
Jackpots
Our original review said Funfair Ride has both a progressive and a standard jackpot. It mentioned prizes of up to $40,000. Jackpot values change, so check the live amounts in the game.
How to Play Funfair Ride
- Check your casino’s lobby: make sure Funfair Ride is available.
- Read the help screen: confirm the RTP, bet range and jackpot rules.
- Set your stake: our original review listed bets up to 100 per spin.
- Spin the reels: wins pay on 10 lines.
- Collect gift boxes: 3 or more open the fairground games.
Who Is Funfair Ride Best For?
Funfair Ride suits players who enjoy cheerful themes and lots of mini-games. The two modes and three bonus games give it plenty of variety.
It’s a good fit if you:
- Love fairground themes: rides, games and treats fill the reels.
- Enjoy bonus games: three different fairground games to play.
- Like jackpot chances: the Night mode adds a jackpot wheel.
If you prefer modern slots with hundreds of ways to win, the 10 lines may feel limited.
Tips for Playing Funfair Ride
- Watch the middle reel: that’s where the expanding wild lands.
- Collect gift boxes: they open the fairground bonus games.
- Look for Night mode symbols: three switch the game to Night mode.
- Hope for clowns at night: they start the Big Wheel jackpot bonus.
- Set a budget: decide your limit before you start.
Understanding Day and Night Modes
Most slots play the same way on every spin. Funfair Ride changes the rules when night falls on the fair.
Night mode adds the boss multiplier and the clown jackpot wheel. That makes it the most exciting part of the game. Getting there depends on landing 3 or more Night mode symbols.
Funfair Ride vs Other Carnival Slots
Fairground and carnival slots often focus on one big bonus game. Funfair Ride stands out with three different mini-games and two game modes.
| Feature | Funfair Ride |
|---|---|
| Paylines | 10 |
| Wild | Expanding wild on the middle reel |
| Bonus games | Duck Shoot, Balloon Shoot, Strong Man |
| Free spins | 5, 10 or 15 (original review) |
| Special mode | Night mode with a jackpot wheel |
Understanding Progressive Jackpots
A progressive jackpot grows a little with every bet placed on the game. When someone wins it, it resets to a starting amount and begins growing again.
Our original review said Funfair Ride has both a progressive jackpot and a standard jackpot. A standard jackpot is a fixed prize that doesn’t grow. Check the help screen to see how each one is won at your casino.
Who Should Skip Funfair Ride?
If you prefer modern slots with lots of ways to win, the 10 paylines may feel dated. Players who want confirmed RTP figures may also prefer a game from a studio that publishes them.

Pros
- Three fairground bonus games

- Cheerful, nostalgic theme
Cons
- Only 10 paylines

Our Verdict
Funfair Ride is a fun, nostalgic slot with plenty of mini-games. The Day and Night modes give it variety, and the fairground bonus games are a nice touch. The RTP isn’t published, and the 10 lines feel dated. If you can find it, it’s a cheerful day out at the fair.
