Luxury Casino Review
Luxury Casino has been around for many years and remains one of the better-known names within the Casino Rewards network. The site combines slots, progressive jackpots, live casino games, blackjack, roulette, baccarat and video poker with a five-deposit welcome offer for new players.
The casino has changed considerably since we first reviewed it. Older references to downloadable Microgaming software, Flash games and UK or Malta licensing no longer accurately describe the current site.
Today, Luxury Casino operates as a modern browser-based casino with more than 1,000 games from multiple software suppliers.
The biggest attraction for new customers is a welcome package worth up to $1,000. However, the wagering requirements on the first two bonuses are unusually high, and that is something we believe players should know before depositing.
Welcome Offer Worth Up to $1,000
The Luxury Casino welcome bonus is spread over a player’s first five qualifying deposits rather than being awarded in one lump sum.
The current package works as follows:
| Deposit | Match | Maximum Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| First | 100% | Up to $150 |
| Second | 50% | Up to $200 |
| Third | 25% | Up to $300 |
| Fourth | 50% | Up to $200 |
| Fifth | 100% | Up to $150 |
Taken together, the five bonuses can be worth as much as $1,000.
Each deposit is assessed individually. Players cannot combine several smaller deposits to qualify for one of the bonus levels.
New customers must also make their first qualifying deposit within seven days of registering if they want to claim the sign-up offer.
The Wagering Requirements Need Attention
This is the part of the promotion we consider most important.
The first and second deposit bonuses come with a 200x play-through requirement before bonus funds can be converted into cash.
From the third deposit onward, subsequent bonuses are subject to a lower 30x play-through requirement.
That is exceptionally high for the first two deposits.
Different games can also contribute different percentages towards the requirement, so completing the rollover may take considerably longer when playing games with a reduced contribution.
For this reason, we would not judge the offer purely on its $1,000 headline value.
What If You Withdraw Before Completing the Bonus?
Bonus funds are held separately from the cash balance.
For the first and second deposits, players are able to withdraw their cash balance without first completing the bonus wagering. However, doing so means any remaining bonus funds associated with those deposits are forfeited.
The way wagers are deducted also changes after the third deposit. From that point, cash is generally played first, with bonus funds used when the cash balance has been exhausted.
Players should read the full Luxury Casino terms and conditions before opting into any promotion.
Games and Software
One of the biggest improvements since our original review is the size and variety of the game library.
Luxury Casino currently advertises more than 1,000 casino games, with new titles added regularly.
The casino was historically associated very closely with Microgaming. Many of the games that players once recognised as Microgaming titles are now distributed through Games Global following the transfer of Microgaming’s distribution business.
You can read more about that history in our Microgaming software guide.
The current lobby includes games from multiple providers rather than relying on a single supplier.
Players can choose from:
- Video slots
- Classic slots
- Progressive jackpots
- Blackjack
- Roulette
- Baccarat
- Video poker
- Live dealer games
- Game-show style live casino titles
The live section includes games such as live blackjack, roulette and baccarat.
Slots and Progressive Jackpots
Slots still make up a large part of the casino.
The current lobby includes newer titles such as Gates of Olympus 1000, Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Big Bass Bonanza alongside long-running casino favourites.
Progressive jackpots are another important part of the selection.
Mega Moolah remains available in several forms, together with games such as Cash Splash and newer jackpot titles.
Long-time players may remember some of the older Microgaming games that featured prominently on this site. Our original review, for example, linked to the classic Tomb Raider slot, which formed part of the earlier Microgaming catalogue.
Live Casino and Table Games
Players who prefer traditional casino games have a good range to choose from.
Blackjack options include familiar American and European formats, while roulette players can choose between several versions of the game.
The live dealer section adds another layer for players who prefer interacting with real dealers rather than playing RNG-based tables.
Baccarat and newer live entertainment games are also available.
The range is much broader than it was when this page was originally published, so the old description of Luxury as primarily a Microgaming slots casino no longer tells the full story.
Who Owns and Licenses the Casino?
This is another area where the information on our original page needed correcting.
Luxury Casino’s current terms state that the brand is managed by Fresh Horizons Limited, registered in the British Virgin Islands.
The terms state that the casino operates under the Kahnawake Gaming Commission in Canada, with licence number 00972.
The website footer separately identifies Apollo Entertainment Ltd, registered in Malta, as the owner and operator of the website.
Older versions of our review referred to the Malta Gaming Authority and UK licensing. Those details reflected information available on the site at the time but should not be treated as the casino’s current licensing position.
For current licensing and account terms, players should rely on the information published in the casino’s latest terms and conditions.
Casino Rewards Loyalty Programme
Luxury Casino remains part of Casino Rewards, a long-running casino loyalty network.
Players are enrolled into the loyalty programme and can earn rewards based on qualifying play.
The exact benefits depend on account activity and the promotions available at the time.
We prefer this approach to promising specific VIP benefits that may later change, as loyalty rewards and promotional conditions can be adjusted by the operator.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Our original review contained a long list of payment methods, including several services that are now obsolete. We have removed those rather than continuing to publish banking options that may no longer be available.
The payment methods displayed to a player can vary according to location, account currency and the banking options supported in that market.
Players should therefore check the casino cashier after registering to see which methods are currently available to them.
Before depositing, we recommend checking:
- Minimum and maximum deposit limits
- Withdrawal limits
- Processing times
- Any payment fees
- Identity verification requirements
- Whether a payment method qualifies for promotional offers
Identity and account verification may be requested as part of the casino’s security and regulatory checks.
Mobile Casino Experience
There is no need to rely on the old downloadable casino software described in earlier versions of this review.
Luxury Casino now runs through a browser and can be accessed from compatible smartphones, tablets and desktop computers.
The responsive site gives mobile players access to the main casino lobby, games, account features and cashier without requiring an old-style desktop download.
This makes the current experience far more straightforward than the downloadable Viper software and Flash-based casino environment that existed during the brand’s earlier years.
Player Support and Responsible Gambling
Luxury Casino states that support is available around the clock.
Its terms also provide several responsible gambling tools, including:
- Deposit limits
- Cooling-off periods
- Self-exclusion
- Referrals to gambling support organisations
Cooling-off periods can range from 24 hours to six weeks, while self-exclusion is available for longer periods.
You can also visit our responsible gambling guide for more information about safer gambling tools and support.
Luxury Casino Pros and Cons
Pros
- Established Casino Rewards brand
- More than 1,000 games
- Large slots and progressive jackpot selection
- Live dealer casino available
- Five separate welcome bonuses
- Mobile-friendly browser platform
- Responsible gambling controls available
Cons
- 200x wagering on the first two deposit bonuses
- Bonus structure is more complicated than a simple one-deposit offer
- Payment options depend on location
- Operator and management information across the site can appear confusing
My Verdict on Luxury Casino
Luxury Casino has changed considerably since we first reviewed it.
The game lobby is now much larger, the platform is fully browser-based and the casino is no longer simply a home for old Microgaming games. Its mix of slots, live casino titles, table games and progressive jackpots gives players plenty to explore.
The welcome package also looks impressive at first glance, with as much as $1,000 available across five deposits.
The problem is the wagering.
A 200x play-through requirement on the first and second bonuses is difficult to overlook, and I would personally consider that far more important than the headline bonus figure. The later 30x requirement is considerably more reasonable, but players still need to understand how the entire promotion works before accepting it.
For me, the strongest reasons to consider Luxury Casino are its established history, broad game selection and Casino Rewards connection rather than the welcome offer alone.
