World Series of Poker 2021 Announced.
Great news for Poker fanatics, the WSOP Inline Circuit Series started on the 14th of January with the first in a slate of online tournaments. Due to Covid 19 and the ongoing challenges it brings, the World Series of Poker 2021 season will be online. There will be 13 online events that will have comprehensive leaderboards and ranking systems. The WSOP 2021 online event will include added prize money from WSOP sponsors and a 180 WSOP Gold Rings.
How WSOP 2021 will Work
The home for this exciting new season of WSOP will be WSOP.com. With incentives and a championship model reminiscent of its live counterpart with a monthly online festival on WSOP.com-Nevada and WSOP.com-New Jersey. There is also an additional 13th online circuit event earmarked pending the launch of WSOP.com
There will be 12 official WSOP gold ring events in all the tournament series with four unique “Super Circuits” having an expanded slate of 18 gold ring events. These events include $1000 and $2000 high roller events and a $500 PLO tournament.
What’s New for the World Series of Poker 2021 Tournament Series?
In the 2021 WSOP Tournament series, some of the tournaments will have official host casino venues. These will highlight “cash at the cage” buy-in and cash out. It will also offer it’s out of market player’s special rates to stay on site.
In total, the WSOP Online Circuit Series offers over $600 000 in extra prize money. This is across a variety of promotions and events. Furthermore, each gold ring event will allocate points for “in the money” performances. These, in turn, will track players who qualify and become eligible for freeroll events and other incentives.
