The Invisible Man slot is based on the original movie which was first released in 1933. The movie was actually based on a novel, written by H G Wells as far back as 1897. The movie is one of the classics of horror movies and had audiences completely in its spell.

Dr Griffin then entices his assistant, a Dr Kemp to join him in his mad campaign. This was to murder at random and generally create mayhem among the local citizens.
