Cascading Reel Slots

Cascading or tumbling reels can remove winning symbols and allow new symbols to drop into the gaps. This may create further wins during the same paid spin, according to the game’s rules. Our collection includes reviews of Jammin’ Jars, Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Hop N Pop and other titles using related mechanics.

The exact system differs between games. Some use increasing multipliers, while others combine cascades with free spins or changing reel configurations. Check the current paytable for when a cascade continues, how multipliers apply and what ends the sequence. Cascades are not exclusive to Megaways slots and do not guarantee repeated wins. Older game availability should also be checked.
