Roaring Forties Slot with Its Basic Fruit Symbols

Roaring Forties Slot Review:

You may think you are going back in time when you see the name Roaring Forties Classic Slot by Novomatic but in fact this is referring to the fixed 40 pay lines.

Normally Classic slots have 3- reels but Roaring Forties is a 5-reel slot. The symbols will be familiar if you have played other fruit slots by Novomatic.

The music too, is familiar as it has been used in several of the Novomatic games. In saying that, the music fits in nicely with the Roaring Forties Slot.

Hitting a winning combination will set off an upbeat tune combined with the sound of empty bottles clanging against one another and then gradually becoming louder, all adding to the intended them and character of the game.

As this is one of the older Novomatic Slots it may not be available at all Novomatic Casinos

Classic Symbols:

Players will find seven classic symbols which will most definitely be familiar to an avid Novomatic player, the Bell and an array of fruit those being Cherries, Grapes, Watermelon, Plum, Orange and a Lemon

Explosive Wilds:

The Wild symbol in this slot game is text in an explosive effect and substitutes all others except for the Scatters Symbol

Scatter Symbols:

The Scatter Symbol in Roaring Forties is a Shiny Star. It is amongst the highest paying of the symbols. Should you be lucky enough to hit 5 bright shiny stars you will receive a 500x win.

Let’s take a Gamble:

The Gamble Feature surprised us, considering how basic the slot is. However, Novomatic offers several variants of the Gamble Feature on their slots.

This Gamble Feature is where the playing cards are face down. They flash between red and black and can be played after every winning combination in the base game.

Select the colour card of your choice by pressing the button next to the card you have chosen. Should you guess the correct colour you will double your winnings. Alternatively, all could be lost should you guess incorrectly so choose wisely.

Is this a Roaring Slot?

For players who prefer the traditional real money slots then the simplistic Roaring Forties Classic Slot is for you. Moreover, you can play more spins in your session with less complications. The hardcore gamblers on the other hand may find it rather boring and far from roaring as the gameplay is slower and it has fewer game features and winning opportunities.
