Mustang Money Slot Review by Ainsworth

Mustang Money Slot Review by Ainsworth

Mustang Money is a wild horse slot from Ainsworth. You can read about the studio on our Ainsworth Game Technology slots page. The game has five reels and up to 100 paylines.

Its big hook is the free spins round. A coin wild lands on reels two and four, and it carries a multiplier. That multiplier can reach 10x.

This review covers the bet range, the symbols and the bonus. A sequel exists too, so read our Mustang Money 2 review if you want to compare.

Mustang Money at a Glance

Theme, Graphics and Sound

The game celebrates wild mustangs on open plains. Sunset colours, desert rocks and galloping horses set the scene. The look is bold and easy to follow.

Horse and Western themes have a long slot history. They suit a game that is simple and direct. The sound effects add a sense of speed.

Our guide to popular slot themes online explains why animal and Western slots remain popular.

Betting Range and Paylines

The game lets you choose between 1 and 100 paylines. Each line carries its own bet, which runs from 0.01 to 100 coins. This gives you strong control over your total stake.

A low line count with a small bet makes a cheap spin. Playing all 100 lines costs much more. It also gives you more ways to win on every spin.

As a result, you can tailor the game to your budget. Start with a smaller number of lines if you are learning the bonus.

Symbols and Paytable

Horses and Western icons fill the higher end of the paytable. Card symbols sit at the lower end. The wild and scatter are special symbols.

We did not verify exact symbol values. Check the game’s paytable for the payouts at your stake.

The Scatter Symbol

Scatters pay in any position. According to our earlier review, three scatters pay 2 times your total bet. Four pay 10 times, and five pay 100 times.

Three or more scatters also trigger the free spins. That makes the scatter the most valuable symbol on the reels.

Free Spins with the Coin Wild

The free spins round gives you 10 spins. During the round, a coin wild can land on reels two and four. The coin carries a multiplier from 1x up to 10x.

The multiplier applies to any win the coin wild helps to make. A 10x coin on a good line can create a large payout. Two coins together can multiply your wins even further.

You can also add more spins. Our earlier review said three new scatters during the round give 5 extra spins. That makes a long, rewarding round possible.

Top Prize

Our earlier review listed a top prize of 1,000,000 coins. It depends on your coin value and your line bet. The game has no progressive jackpot.

A fixed top prize makes the game easier to understand. You know the highest possible result before you spin.

Strategy and Bankroll Tips

• Play fewer lines at first, so you can learn the bonus.
• Pick a bet that gives you at least 150 spins.
• Set a loss limit before you start.
• Never raise your stake after a loss.
• Take breaks between sessions.

No tip changes the odds. Every spin is random, and earlier results never affect the next one.

Mobile and Demo Play

We could not confirm mobile support from the developer. Check your casino’s game list on your phone or tablet.

A free demo is useful here. It lets you see how the coin wild works without risk. Our guide to free online slots explains how to practise safely.

How a Typical Session Plays

The base game is steady and straightforward. You choose your lines and your bet, then spin. Wins arrive from horses, icons and card values.

When scatters land, the pace picks up. Two scatters on the reels build tension. A third opens the free spins and the coin wild.

The best moments come when a high multiplier coin lands on a winning line. Those spins can change a session in one go.

Choosing How Many Lines to Play

The line selector is one of the best features of this slot. It lets you balance your budget against your chances to win.

Fewer lines mean a cheaper spin. They also mean fewer ways to win. All 100 lines cost more, but they cover far more of the grid.

A middle path works well for many players. Choose a medium number of lines and a small bet. This gives you a good spread without a large cost per spin.

Mustang Money Compared with Newer Slots

The design is older, but it is clear. You can learn the whole game in a few spins.

Understanding the Coin Wild Multiplier

The coin wild is the key feature. It helps to see how it works in practice. Imagine a coin lands on reel two with a 5x multiplier. It substitutes for a symbol and completes a line. The win on that line is then multiplied by five.

Now imagine a second coin lands on reel four at the same time. Both coins can sit on the same winning line. The multipliers work together, so the result can be far larger than a normal win.

That is why reels two and four deserve your attention. A single coin can lift a modest line into a strong payout. Two coins can turn a quiet round into a memorable one.

Remember that the multipliers are random. Some free spins rounds will see small coins, and others will see large ones. Treat a big multiplier as a bonus, not as something to expect.

Playing Responsibly

Large multipliers can tempt you to chase big wins. Set a budget before you play and keep to it. Use deposit limits and reality checks if your casino offers them.

Never chase losses. Stop if gambling stops being fun.
