Theme and Graphics
House of Doom mixes classic horror with a heavy metal attitude. The reels sit in front of a crumbling haunted house under a stormy sky. Instead of spooky organ music, though, you get a loud rock soundtrack that suits the game’s fast pace.
The symbols are dark and occult. Card ranks make up the lower-paying symbols. Above them, you’ll find gothic images such as barbed wire crosses, pentagrams and flaming roses. The Seer, the house and the skull each play a special role.

Hellgate

Doom Spins
Land three House of Doom scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 to win 10 free Doom Spins. Your bet and lines stay the same as the spin that triggered the feature.
During Doom Spins, things get much livelier. Between two and five reels are highlighted on each spin, and at least one of reels 1, 3 or 5 is always included. If a wild lands on any highlighted reel, it expands to fill it. On top of that, the house symbol becomes a Wild House of Doom, which also expands on a highlighted reel.
You can also win extra spins. Three or more Wild House of Doom symbols award one extra free spin each. As a result, a strong round can keep going for quite a while.
Skulls of Abyss
Three skulls on reels 2, 3 and 4 open the Skulls of Abyss bonus. Here, you pick skulls one by one to reveal what’s hidden underneath. The prizes work like this:

- Skull symbol: we used to say five skulls paid 70x your stake. Play’n GO describes the skull only as the bonus scatter.
- Base game wild: the old review didn’t mention the Hellgate feature, which expands wilds on a random reel every spin.
- RTP and bets: the old 96% RTP and $0.10 to $100 bet range aren’t listed by Play’n GO. Check the help screen at your casino.
