Assassin Moon Slot at a Glance
Assassin Moon is a video slot from Triple Edge Studios for Microgaming. It is released under the Games Global name today. Some players search for it as the Casino Rewards Midnight Assassin slot, but the game itself is called Assassin Moon.
The slot follows a female assassin who takes a contract on a hardened criminal boss in Monaco. The setting is glamorous, with luxury casinos and a sleek spy-film look. It also pairs a respin bonus with free spins and four fixed jackpots, which gives it more variety than many slots with a similar theme.

Theme and Story
The story centres on an assassin who gets paid to remove a criminal boss. Monaco provides the backdrop, with its casinos, sports cars and luxury. The graphics are clean and cohesive, and the mood is closer to a spy thriller than to a cartoon slot.
Because the game runs on mobile devices, you can play the part of a secret agent wherever you like. The reels are easy to read on a smaller screen, and the bonus features are clear.
How to Play
Assassin Moon uses a 5 by 3 grid with 25 fixed paylines. All paylines are always active. You choose your stake, spin the reels and look for matching symbols from left to right.
- Set your stake, from 0.10 to 20 per spin.
- Spin the reels manually or use autoplay.
- Watch for the wild, the moon symbols and the casino chip scatters.
- Aim to trigger HyperHold, the free spins or one of the four jackpots.
The RTP is 96.08%. That is a long-term figure and cannot predict what will happen in a short session. The volatility is high, so wins may arrive less often but can be larger when they land. If you want to learn more about RTP and volatility, read our gambling glossary.
Stacked Wilds
The wild symbol substitutes for other symbols to help build winning lines. It can also appear in stacks, which fill whole reels. Stacked wilds are often the best way to create a big win on the base game, because they cover several positions at once.
HyperHold Bonus
HyperHold is the signature feature. It starts when 6 or more full moon symbols land on the same spin.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Trigger | 6 or more full moon symbols on one spin |
| Respins | 3 respins, with the moons held in place |
| Reset | Each new moon that lands resets the counter to 3 |
| Payout | Moon values are added at the end of the respins |
The feature continues for as long as new moons keep landing. Therefore, a good run can build into a large total. It also links to the jackpots, which makes it the most exciting part of the game.
Four Jackpots
Assassin Moon has four fixed jackpots. They are not progressive, so they do not grow with every bet. Instead, each pays a set multiple of your stake.
| Jackpot | How it works |
|---|---|
| Mega Jackpot | 5,000x your stake, awarded when every position on the reels fills with full moons |
| Other jackpots | Three further fixed jackpots at lower values |
Filling the whole grid is rare. Still, the chance of a 5,000x prize keeps every HyperHold round interesting.
Free Spins
Free spins start when 3 or more casino chip scatters land. You receive 10 free spins. During the bonus, the three central reels lock together into a jumbo block that is worth 9 symbols. This large symbol can make a big difference to your wins.
If a scatter lands on the jumbo block, you win your total stake and get 10 more free spins. The bonus can retrigger, which gives you the chance of a long and rewarding round.
Why the Jumbo Block Matters
A single large symbol that fills the middle of the grid can create several winning lines at the same time. High-value jumbo symbols can pay very well. As a result, the free spins are where many of the game’s larger base wins can happen outside the jackpots.
Maximum Win
The maximum win is 12,500x your stake. At a stake of 1, that is a prize of 12,500. As with most high variance slots, reaching it is unlikely. Treat it as an exciting possibility, not something to plan around.
Who Is This Slot For?
- Players who like respin bonuses with held symbols.
- Fans of spy and heist themes.
- Players who enjoy high variance slots and can handle quiet spells.
- Anyone who wants fixed jackpots without a progressive pot.
Low variance players may prefer a slot that pays small wins more often. The game’s thrills come from its features, so be ready for stretches without a win.

Tips for Playing Assassin Moon

- Take regular breaks.
- Never chase losses.
Check the bonus terms before you claim an offer. Many casinos limit which slots count towards wagering. To compare more games by studio, see our slot providers page, and read our casino safety guide before you deposit.
Managing Your Bankroll on a High Variance Slot
High variance slots reward patience. Wins can be rare, so your balance may drop quickly before a feature lands. A sensible approach protects you from big swings.
| Tip | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Choose a lower stake | A smaller stake gives you more spins and more chances to reach HyperHold or the free spins. |
| Set a session limit | Decide how much you will spend before you start, and stop when you reach it. |
| Avoid raising stakes after a loss | Chasing losses with bigger bets is the fastest way to run out of funds. |
| Cash out wins | Withdraw part of a big win so you do not lose it all back. |
| Take breaks | Short pauses help you stay in control. |
Remember that results are random. No stake size or pattern improves your chance of triggering a bonus. The tips above only help you manage your money.
How Assassin Moon Compares with Other Respin Slots
Many modern slots use respins with held symbols. Assassin Moon stands out by combining that feature with a separate free spins round and four fixed jackpots. It gives you two different bonus routes, and each plays differently. HyperHold is about collecting moons, while the free spins focus on the jumbo block.
Playing on Mobile
Assassin Moon works on mobile devices. The reels and buttons scale well to smaller screens, and autoplay is available if you prefer not to tap on every spin. Use a stable connection when you play for real money, so that a dropped signal does not interrupt a bonus round.
Where to Play
Choose a licensed casino that offers Microgaming titles and accepts players from your country. Availability and the exact stake range can vary between casinos. For a list of reputable sites, see our top online casinos.
Responsible Play
Slots are entertainment and not a way to make money. Use deposit limits, session reminders and time-outs to stay in control. If gambling stops being fun, take a break and speak to an independent support organisation in your country.

Our Verdict
Assassin Moon is a stylish, feature-rich slot with a strong spy theme. HyperHold gives it a lively respin bonus, the jumbo free spins add variety, and the four fixed jackpots give you something to aim for. The high volatility means it will not suit everyone. Players who enjoy bigger swings and a wide stake range should find plenty to like.
