Azart Play Casino Closed: What Happened to Aplay Casino
The European multi-provider casino has stopped taking play and asked players to withdraw their funds
Azart Play Casino Is Now Closed
Azart Play Casino, later known as Aplay Casino, is no longer open for play. When we checked in October 2026, the Aplay website showed a notice saying access was temporarily restricted. The same notice asked players to withdraw their funds. Meanwhile, the original azartplay.com domain is now a parked page with no casino on it.
Azart Play launched in 2017 and built a following among European players. It offered a large mix of slots from many providers, plus regular tournaments and a VIP scheme. However, that casino is no longer available, and new players can’t sign up.
We’ve updated this page to explain what we can confirm. You’ll also find advice for anyone who still has a balance, plus three active casinos to consider instead.
The Aplay Casino website (formerly Azart Play) restricts access and tells players to withdraw their funds. The old Azart Play domain is parked. We don’t recommend depositing at any site using either name.
What We Can Verify
The clearest evidence comes from the casino’s own website. In October 2026, the Aplay site no longer offered games. Instead, it showed a message saying access was temporarily restricted. It also told players to withdraw any money left in their accounts.
That second part matters. A casino planning a short pause doesn’t usually ask everyone to cash out. So we’re treating the casino as closed, even though the notice uses the word “temporarily”.
The original domain tells the same story. Azartplay.com is now a parked page, which means nobody is using it for a casino. As a result, there’s no working version of Azart Play under either name.
Some casino directories report that Aplay closed in January 2025. We couldn’t confirm that date with the operator. For that reason, we don’t treat it as an official closure date.
We also found no public announcement explaining why the casino stopped trading. So we won’t guess at the reason. If the operator publishes an explanation, we’ll update this page.
If you still have money in an Aplay or Azart Play account, request a withdrawal as soon as possible. The casino itself is asking players to do this.
From Azart Play to Aplay
Azart Play opened in 2017. Our original review said it ran under a Curaçao licence, with Avento N.V. named as the licence holder. At launch, the casino offered more than 2,000 games across slots, table games, video poker and virtual sports.
The brand later changed its name to Aplay Casino. Its affiliate programme was PlayAttack, which was once called AzartCash. Industry directories list PlayAttack as the programme behind several sister casinos, including SlotV, Frank Casino, Mr Bit, Drift and Columbus Casino.
In 2020, PlayAttack announced that Aplay had launched a site under a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority. That was a step up from the original Curaçao licence. Even so, the brand has now stopped taking play.

What Azart Play Used to Offer
Azart Play was a multi-provider casino, which means its games came from many different studios. The lobby featured titles from Microgaming, NetEnt, Betsoft, Play’n GO and Quickspin, among others. Fans of Yggdrasil slots and Amatic classics were well looked after too.
The slot themes covered everything from Ancient Egypt to Vikings and fairy tales. In addition, there were progressive jackpots such as Mega Moolah, along with blackjack, roulette, baccarat, video poker, bingo, scratch cards and virtual sports.
Promotions were a big part of the casino’s appeal. For example, new players could claim a welcome package of up to €1,500 over five deposits, plus 200 free spins. Regular players could also join hourly “Battles” on selected slots and a weekly Lucky Ticket lottery.
The VIP scheme had Premium and VIP levels, with better service and offers as you climbed. There was even a monthly “Compliment from the Chef” no deposit bonus for active players. None of these offers are available now, of course.
What to Do If You Had an Account
If you still have money in an Aplay or Azart Play account, act quickly. The casino’s own notice asks players to withdraw their funds. So try to log in and request a withdrawal while that option still exists.
Next, keep a record of everything. Take screenshots of the closure notice, your balance and your transaction history. Also save any emails you’ve had from the casino about your account.
If you have trouble withdrawing, contact the casino’s support team in writing so you have a record of your request. If that doesn’t work, your bank or payment provider may be able to help with recent payments.
Finally, change your password if you used the same one anywhere else. This is a sensible step whenever a site you’ve used shuts down.
Watch Out for Copycat Sites
When a casino closes, fake sites sometimes appear using the old name. In fact, at least one casino directory warns that sites still running under the Aplay name are fakes.
So be careful with any site, email or ad claiming to be Azart Play or Aplay. Never deposit money or upload ID documents to a site you’re unsure about.
Before joining any casino, check the footer for the operating company and licence details. A genuine operator displays these clearly. If they’re missing, look elsewhere.

How We Check Casino Status
We don’t rely on old reviews to decide whether a casino is still open. Instead, we start with the casino’s own website. Next, we look at the affiliate programme, and then the regulator where possible.
For Azart Play, the casino’s own site was enough. It restricts access and asks players to withdraw, while the original domain is parked. If anything changes, we’ll update this page.

Play Responsibly
Gambling should be fun, not a way to make money. Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Also, take regular breaks and never chase your losses.
If gambling stops being enjoyable, help is available. Most casinos offer tools such as deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. You can also contact a free gambling support service in your country.
