Casino status: Closed. 24K Casino is no longer trading. We had already blacklisted it after a run of serious player complaints. Please do not try to sign up or deposit. Our recommended alternatives are listed further down this page.

What Happened to 24K Casino?

24K Casino was a crypto-friendly online casino that launched in 2018. It built a big following with its gold theme, thousands of games and support for coins like Bitcoin and Dash. For a few years, it was one of the better-known Bitcoin casinos around.

Today, the casino has closed. Independent casino directories now list it as a closed site. Former players also report that it stopped operating. When we visited 24kcasino.com, we only saw a location-block page. We found no sign of a working casino behind it.

We couldn’t confirm the exact date it shut down. The operator never published a closure notice that we could find. That silence is part of a wider pattern, which we explain below.

24K Casino Timeline

Here is how the brand’s story unfolded, based on what we could confirm.

When What happened
2018 24K Casino launches as a white label of SG International N.V.
March 2020 The casino adds Rapid Transfer payments in nine new countries.
September 2021 The lobby passes 3,000 games and adds more Microgaming slots.
January 2022 24K leaves the SG International white label to run on its own.
2020 to 2022 Complaints about slow payouts, closed accounts and unpaid balances build up.
December 2024 Curaçao’s new gambling law replaces the old sub-licence system.
2026 Directories list the casino as closed, and it is missing from the Curaçao register.

Who Ran 24K Casino?

24K Casino started life as a white label. In simple terms, it ran on the licence and systems of another company, SG International N.V. That setup is common with newer online casinos, because it lets a brand launch quickly.

In January 2022, 24K announced that it had left the SG International white label. It said it would now run as an independent casino. After that point, industry directories named Phoenix Media Tech B.V. as the operator. This company was registered in Curaçao.

Our older review also listed RedFlow Media Limited as a holding company. We could not confirm that link with any current source, so we have left it out of the table above.

The Licence Question

For most of its life, 24K Casino held a Curaçao sub-licence. Under the old Curaçao system, a handful of master licence holders issued sub-licences to casino brands. 24K’s licence came under the Antillephone master licence, number 8048.

That system has now ended. Curaçao brought in a new gambling law in December 2024. As a result, every operator had to apply directly to the new Curaçao Gaming Authority. You can read more about these changes in our Curaçao eGaming licence guide.

We checked the regulator’s July 2026 licence register. We found no entry for Phoenix Media Tech B.V. SG International does appear on the register. Still, that does not cover 24K Casino, which left SG’s white label back in 2022.

So, as far as we can tell, 24K Casino had no valid licence when it stopped trading. For more on the risks of this, see our guide to casinos without licences.

Why We Blacklisted 24K Casino

We placed 24K Casino on our blacklist before it closed. The reason was a steady stream of player complaints on independent complaint and review sites. These are player claims rather than findings by a regulator. Even so, the same problems came up again and again.

Accounts Closed After Big Wins

Several players said the casino closed their accounts soon after they won. In one case, a player said they won close to 10,000. The casino then blocked the account over claims of fraud and multiple accounts. The player strongly denied this and said they had used the same details at many other sites.

Balances That Were Never Paid

One player from Finland said they had more than €16,000 sitting in a disabled account. They also claimed the casino told them it would keep the balance because they had complained in public. We cannot verify every detail of that account. Still, it is a very serious claim, and it was never resolved.

A casino that stops paying winners and stops answering complaints is the clearest red flag in online gambling.

Support That Went Quiet

Other players described withdrawals that disappeared into silence. One said their account was disabled after a crypto withdrawal. They added that live chat always seemed to be offline, and their emails went unanswered. Complaint sites also reported that 24K often stopped replying before a case was settled.

A Fair Point to Note

To be balanced, not every complaint ended badly. For example, a Norwegian player’s withdrawal problem was resolved in 2022. Some players also left positive reviews in the casino’s early years. Still, the unresolved cases were too serious for us to keep recommending the brand.

What 24K Casino Used to Offer

For readers who remember the brand, here is a short look back. 24K Casino was known for its huge game lobby. It advertised thousands of titles from dozens of software studios. Slots made up most of the collection, including releases like the Astro Babes slot.

The casino also had table games, live dealer tables and a strong video poker section. Multi-hand video poker was a highlight, with games such as All American and Jacks or Better. It also offered scratch cards, virtual sports and keno.

Crypto was a big part of its appeal. Players could deposit with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Tether and Dash, among others. There was also a loyalty scheme where players collected “Gold Nuggets” to swap for rewards.

Our earlier review also praised the casino’s fast and secure payouts. With hindsight, player reports told a different story. That is exactly why we keep checking brands after we first review them.

None of this is available any more. We mention it only so returning readers know they have found the right casino.

Still Have Money at 24K Casino?

If you had a balance at 24K Casino, recovering it will be hard. There is no current licence holder or regulator to complain to. Even so, there are a few steps worth taking.

  • Gather your records. Save screenshots, emails, deposit receipts and any withdrawal requests you made.
  • Contact your bank or card provider. If you paid by card, ask whether a dispute or chargeback is possible. Time limits apply, so act quickly.
  • Check e-wallet protections. Some e-wallets have their own dispute process for payments to closed merchants.
  • Be realistic about crypto. Crypto payments usually cannot be reversed. Sadly, that money is very unlikely to come back.

Beware of “recovery” scams: Scammers often contact players from closed casinos. They promise to get your money back for an upfront fee. Never pay anyone who makes this promise.

Warning Signs to Watch For

The 24K story shows why it pays to check a casino before you deposit. Here are the main warning signs, and what a safer casino looks like instead.

Warning sign What to look for instead
No licence number, or one you can’t check A licence you can find on the regulator’s public register
Accounts closed right after a big win Clear ID checks done before you ever withdraw
Live chat that is always offline Support that answers quickly and in writing
Many unresolved complaints online A casino that engages with complaint services
Frequent changes of owner or operator A stable, named company behind the brand

24K Casino FAQ

Is 24K Casino still open?

No. 24K Casino has closed. The website no longer offers a working casino, and we could not find a current licence.

Why was 24K Casino blacklisted?

We blacklisted it because of repeated player complaints. These included closed accounts after wins, unpaid balances and support that stopped responding.

Can I get my money back from 24K Casino?

It is unlikely, but not impossible for card payments. Speak to your bank about a chargeback as soon as you can. Crypto deposits usually cannot be recovered.

Who owned 24K Casino?

It began as a white label of SG International N.V. From 2022, Phoenix Media Tech B.V. of Curaçao was named as the operator.

Our Final Word

24K Casino started with plenty of promise. It had a fun theme, a huge game lobby and strong crypto support. Over time, though, the complaints piled up and the casino stopped answering them. It now appears to have closed without any public notice.

We recommend staying well away from any site using the 24K Casino name. Instead, choose one of the licensed alternatives above, and always check a casino’s licence before you deposit.
