This guide covers the studio’s history, licences, games and features. It also explains how its slots work, so you know what to expect before you spin.

The History of Tom Horn Gaming
The studio’s own timeline helps explain how it grew. The key steps are below.
| Year | Milestone |
|---|---|
| 2016 | Became Tom Horn Gaming, the first regulated content supplier in Lithuania, and received a Malta licence |
| 2017 | Received a UK Gambling Commission licence |
| 2018 | Entered the Gibraltar market and opened a development hub in Kyiv |
| 2020 | Moved to a fully remote team |
| 2021 | Received a Romanian licence |
| 2023 | Introduced an unlimited paid leave policy |
Our earlier review said that Tom Horn Enterprise released its first games in 2005. We could not confirm that date on the studio’s current site. Our earlier review also listed offices in Malta, Slovakia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. The studio now describes itself as a remote team, with the Kyiv hub opened in 2018.
Licences and Regulation
Tom Horn Gaming lists a Malta licence from 2016 and a UK licence from 2017. It added a Romanian licence in 2021. Our pages on the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission explain what these regulators do.
The studio’s site also shows logos for GLI, iTech Labs, BeGambleAware and QUINEL. GLI and iTech Labs are well-known game testing labs. The site does not explain what each logo covers, so check the game information at your casino.
Tom Horn Gaming lists ten live markets. They are Lithuania, Portugal, Sweden, Latvia, Belarus, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain and Croatia. A casino can only offer a game in a market where the studio holds the right approvals. As a result, the game list you see depends on where you live.
Games From Tom Horn Gaming
The games page lists 125 titles. Most are video slots. The studio also makes table games, including European Roulette and French Roulette with the La Partage rule.
Its slot names show a few clear styles.
- Coin and pot games: titles such as Ace Coins, Majestic Coins and 3 Pots of Aladdin.
- Classic fruit slots: titles such as 81 Crystal Fruits, Flaming Fruit and 243 Crystal Fruits.
- Book slots: titles such as Book of Aladdin, Book of Cleo and Book of Vampires.
- Myth and adventure slots: titles such as Dragon vs Phoenix, Wild Dragon’s Fortune and Reborn of Zeus 3000.
- Seasonal slots: titles such as Pumpkin God 3000 and Santa Yetti.
Our earlier review gave a game count of just over 100 and a split by type. Since then the studio has added more, so we use the current figure from its games page.
Popular Tom Horn Gaming Slots
The table below shows three slots whose details we checked on the studio’s own game pages. The RTP shown can vary by casino, so always check the game rules where you play.
| Slot | RTP | Volatility | Layout | Main features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pumpkin God 3000 | 95.13% | High | 6 reels, 5 rows, scatter pays | BlastX cascades, multipliers, free spins, bonus buy |
| Royal Ruby FeatureStorm | 94.98% | High | 5 reels, 3 rows, 9 bet lines | Hold and win bonus, jackpot, bonus buy |
| Diamond Hill | 96% | High | 36 win lines | Wild multipliers up to x9, respins |
All three slots are high volatility. This means wins can come less often but can be larger. Set a budget before you play, because losing streaks can be long.
Pumpkin God 3000
This Halloween slot uses 8 or more matching symbols for a win. Any win triggers the BlastX feature. Winning symbols vanish and new ones drop in. Multiplier symbols from 2x to 1000x can also land and add together.
Four or more scatters give 15 free spins. A multiplier stays in play and only goes up during the round. A booster costs 1.5 times your bet and raises the chance of triggering free spins. Bonus buy options are available too.
Our slot guides cover these features in more detail. For a related Tom Horn title, read our page on the Diamond Hill slot.
Royal Ruby FeatureStorm
This slot has a hold and win bonus. You land ruby symbols on reels 2 to 4 to fill a meter. Three ruby symbols start the bonus with 3 respins. The respins reset each time a new symbol locks.
If you fill all 15 positions, you win the Grand Jackpot. The studio’s page lists seven bonus combinations of multiplier, collector and jackpot prizes. Bonus buys cost 50 or 120 times your bet.
Diamond Hill
Diamond Hill is a classic style slot with 36 win lines. Wilds that land on reel 1 or reel 5 turn into multipliers from x1 to x9. A win that includes a wild triggers a respin.
This keeps the action moving without a long bonus round. Read our full Diamond Hill review for more detail on this title.
Features You Will See in Their Slots
Tom Horn Gaming slots tend to share a toolbox of features. Here are the main ones.
- Multipliers: they raise the value of a win, sometimes by large amounts.
- Free spins: these are triggered by scatter symbols and often include a rising multiplier.
- Respins: winning symbols lock in place while the others spin again.
- Hold and win bonuses: special symbols lock on the grid for a chance at jackpot prizes.
- Bonus buy: you pay a multiple of your bet to jump straight to a feature.
Bonus buy deserves a warning. It can make a session cost much more per spin. Some regulated markets limit or ban this feature. It may not appear in the version you play.
Another point is the volatility. High volatility slots suit players with a bigger bankroll and some patience. If you prefer steady play, pick a lower volatility slot from another studio. Our page on Endorphina slots is one place to start.
Mobile Play
The studio’s game pages list iOS, Android and PC as supported platforms. The games run in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. You do not need to install an app to play at most casinos.
Our earlier review said that the games use a lightweight design for low bandwidth phones. We could not confirm this on the current site, so test a demo version on your own connection first.
