Sweet Success Slot at a Glance
Sweet Success is a bright, candy-filled video slot from Saucify (BetOnSoft). Lollipops, jelly babies, gumdrops and marshmallows fill a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 50 paylines, and the bonus rounds are what make it worth a look: 30 free spins with a 2x multiplier, plus a Pick on Reels bonus where you reveal prizes.

| Platforms | Desktop, tablet and mobile (as listed in our original review) |
Theme and Presentation
The theme is pure confectionery. Animated lollipops, jelly beans and gumdrops sit on the reels, and the card symbols are styled to match the candy look rather than the usual plain letters. The graphics are bold and colourful, and the animations are lively without slowing the game down.
It is a lighter, more playful slot than most of the gothic and Egyptian titles you will find in a lobby, which is part of why it has kept a following. If you like the sugar-themed look, our guide to popular slot themes covers other styles worth trying.
Betting Range and Paylines
Sweet Success runs on 50 fixed paylines. You choose a coin value from 0.01 to 0.25 and place 1 to 5 coins per line. At the top setting that adds up to 62.50 per spin, while the lowest setting keeps spins very cheap, so the slot suits both small and larger bankrolls.
With 50 lines active, even the minimum bet is spread across a lot of paylines. If you are playing on a small balance, a lower coin value will give you more spins to reach the bonus features.
Symbols and Payouts
The multicoloured lollipop is the wild. It substitutes for every symbol except the scatters, and five of them on a payline pay 8,000x the line bet according to our original review. During the base game a random wild can drop in to help build a winning line. Random wilds do not appear in the free spins, though the bonus can be retriggered.
The high-paying jelly beans are the other symbols to watch. Five black jelly beans pay 1,000x and five orange jelly beans pay 1,400x, and both pay for as few as two of a kind. At the other end, the 10 is the lowest card symbol: five pay 30 credits and three pay only 4.
Scatter Symbols
There are three scatters, and two of them trigger bonus features:
- Gumdrop scatter: pays 100x your bet as a straight scatter win.
- Purple and white scatter: triggers the free spins.
- Jelly Baby scatter: triggers the Pick on Reels bonus.
Free Spins With a 2x Multiplier
Landing the purple and white scatter awards 30 free spins. Wins during the round are doubled by the 2x multiplier, and you do not spend any of your own balance while they run. The round can be retriggered, which is where the biggest sessions come from.
The trade-off is that random wilds are switched off during the free spins, so the multiplier and retriggers carry the round rather than extra wilds.
Pick on Reels Bonus
The Jelly Baby scatter opens the Pick on Reels bonus. Five Jelly Babies give you three picks, and each pick reveals a prize. Prizes are multiples of your total bet, so the stake you were playing at decides the size of the reward.
Because the bonus is a pick-and-reveal game, there is no skill involved. The value comes from how many picks you earn when it triggers.
How to Play Sweet Success
- Open the game and check the info screen for the current RTP and stake limits.
- Choose a coin value between 0.01 and 0.25.
- Set 1 to 5 coins per line. All 50 paylines are active.
- Spin manually, or use autoplay with a loss limit you are comfortable with.
- Watch for the purple and white and Jelly Baby scatters, which start the two bonus features.
Who Will Enjoy It
Sweet Success suits players who like a colourful theme and are comfortable with high volatility. If you are newer to slots, our list of games to play if you’re new to online slots includes steadier options to start with.
Volatility and RTP
Our original review rated Sweet Success as high volatility, with an RTP of 96.54%. That is above the 96% most slots publish, but operators can run different RTP versions of the same game, so check the info screen at your casino. Our RTP explainer shows how to read these figures.
High volatility means wins arrive less often and can be larger. A sensible approach is to treat your balance as entertainment money, pick a low coin value, and stop when your session limit is reached.
About Saucify (BetOnSoft)
Saucify is a business-to-business supplier of RNG casino games, offering games in multiple languages and currencies, including some cryptocurrencies. The studio has also traded as BetOnSoft. For more of its titles, see our Saucify provider profile, or try Reelin and Rockin.
Where to Play Sweet Success
Availability depends on which Saucify games a casino carries, and we could not verify the current lobby of any casino for this title. Our earlier review noted it at DuckyLuck Casino, so check that game library before you register.
Mobile Play
The game is built to run on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The large candy symbols stay easy to read on a small screen, and the bet controls are the same as on desktop.
What We Changed in This Review
- Added a clear note on which figures could not be re-verified with Saucify.
- Removed the link to CyberSpins Casino, which has closed.
- Reorganised the review into clearer sections and added a quick-facts table.
- Added volatility and RTP guidance and updated the internal links.
Is Sweet Success Worth Playing?
It is a good pick if you want a lively theme and two distinct bonus rounds. The free spins with a 2x multiplier and the Pick on Reels bonus give it more variety than many candy slots. The high volatility and the loss of random wilds in the free spins are the main things to be aware of.
