Princess Warrior Slot Overview
Princess Warrior is an Ancient Greek adventure slot from Real Time Gaming. You join a fearless warrior princess as she battles her way across a mythical land. Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, plays a starring role as the wild.
The game plays on 5 reels and 3 rows, with 40 paylines. Our original review rated it as high volatility. The top award is 96,000 times your bet per line. With 40 lines in play, that works out at 2,400 times your total bet.
The big draw is the choice of free spins. When the bonus starts, you pick one of four different free spins options. There’s also a random Princess Warrior Feature that can land in the base game.

Theme and Design
Princess Warrior takes you to Ancient Greece. Our original review praised the vivid animations, which bring the mythical setting to life.
The warrior theme runs through every symbol. You’ll see a gold urn, crossed swords, a warrior’s shield and a battle helmet. Athena stands out as the wild, and the game’s logo acts as the scatter.
The result is a bold, colourful game. It feels more like an action film than a quiet history lesson.
Betting Range
Our original review listed bets from $0.40 to $10 per spin. That’s a fairly low top bet, so the game suits casual players more than high rollers.
Because all 40 lines are always in play, each line bet is very small. Coin sizes and limits can differ between casinos, so check the help screen before you start.
The Athena Wild
Athena is the game’s wild symbol. She stands in for every other symbol except the scatter, helping you complete winning lines.
There’s a twist, though. Athena only lands on the middle reel. When a full stack of Athena wilds covers reel 3, it unlocks the Princess Warrior Feature.
The Princess Warrior Feature
This feature is the game’s main base game surprise. When it starts, you get one random reward from this list:
- A win multiplier: 2x, 3x or 4x.
- Random wilds: extra wilds scattered across all the reels.
- A wild reel: one of the five reels turns completely wild.
- An Olympic Reward: a random cash prize.
A whole wild reel can link up lots of the 40 lines at once. Combined with Athena’s stack, that can lead to some big base game wins.
Free Spins with Four Options
The Princess Warrior logo is the scatter. Land 3 or more scatters anywhere to start the free spins.
You choose how to play them, and every option gives you 10 free spins. The rules list these four options:
| Option | What happens on each free spin |
|---|---|
| Multipliers | A random 2x, 3x or 4x multiplier applies |
| Wild reel | One of reels 1, 2, 4 or 5 turns wild |
| Random wilds | Wilds appear in random positions |
| All features | One of the three features lands on every spin |
The last option mixes all three features. It’s the most unpredictable choice, and it suits players who like a bit of risk.
Your bet stays the same as the spin that started the bonus. The free spins can’t be retriggered, and the Princess Warrior Feature doesn’t appear during them.
How to Play Princess Warrior
- Check your casino’s lobby: make sure the game is available.
- Set your stake: our original review listed $0.40 to $10 per spin.
- Spin the reels: wins pay across 40 fixed lines.
- Watch reel 3: a full stack of Athena wilds starts the Princess Warrior Feature.
- Collect 3 scatters: then pick your free spins option.
Which Free Spins Option Should You Pick?
There’s no wrong answer, as all four options are random. Even so, each one feels different to play.
The multiplier option boosts any win you land. It’s a good choice if you like steady excitement. The wild reel option guarantees a wild reel on every spin, so it often pays more regularly.
Random wilds can create surprise wins in odd places. Finally, the mixed option can land any feature at any time. Pick the one that sounds the most fun to you.
Who Is Princess Warrior Best For?
Princess Warrior suits players who enjoy mythology and like having a say in their bonus round. The choice of free spins makes each bonus feel a little different.
It’s a good fit if you:
- Love Greek myths: Athena, warriors and ancient battles.
- Enjoy choosing your bonus: four different free spins options.
- Like high volatility: big win potential with quieter spells between.
If you prefer frequent small wins, a low volatility slot may suit you better.
Tips for Playing Princess Warrior
- Keep an eye on reel 3: Athena only lands there.
- Try different free spins options: see which style you enjoy most.
- Pace your stake: high volatility means wins can be patchy.
- Check the RTP: look in the help screen at your casino.
- Set a budget: decide your limit before you start.
Where to Play Princess Warrior
Our original review said the game was popular with South African players at Springbok Casino. It was also a hit with USA players at Lucky Tiger Casino.
Game lobbies change over time. Search for Princess Warrior at your chosen casino before you deposit.
Understanding High Volatility
Volatility describes how a slot pays out. Low volatility games pay small wins often. High volatility games pay less often, but the wins can be much bigger.
Princess Warrior’s top award of 96,000x your line bet shows why it’s rated high volatility. Most of that potential sits in the features and free spins. In between, you may see quite a few quiet spins, so plan your budget with that in mind.
About Real Time Gaming
Real Time Gaming has been making casino games since the late 1990s. Its slots are especially popular at casinos that accept players from the USA and South Africa.
Today, RTG’s games are supplied by SpinLogic Gaming. For other RTG titles with a mythical feel, read our Legend of Helios review.
Greek Myths on the Reels
Ancient Greece is one of the most popular slot themes. Gods, heroes and monsters make perfect symbols, and the stories are full of adventure.
Many Greek slots focus on Zeus or Poseidon. Princess Warrior is a little different, as it puts a female hero at the centre of the action. That gives it a fresh feel next to other mythology games.
What We Changed in This Review
- Sources: we’ve checked the rules on the Slots of Vegas website, as SpinLogic has no page for this game.
- Top win: we’ve corrected the top award to 96,000x your bet per line, not your total bet.
- Free spins: we’ve added that they can’t be retriggered, and how the wild reel option works.
- Figures: we’ve marked the bet range and volatility as coming from our original review.
- Structure: we’ve added a quick-reference table, tips, pros and cons, and FAQs.
- Links: we’ve kept our links to RTG casinos in South Africa and the USA.
Is Princess Warrior Worth Playing?
Yes, if you enjoy mythology and like a game with real win potential. Having four free spins options keeps the bonus fresh. On top of that, the Princess Warrior Feature adds excitement to the base game.
The main drawback is that the free spins can’t be retriggered. Also, the bet range comes from our original review, so check your casino first.
