Status: Suspended. Guts Casino NZ is suspended on Topboss Group. The brand has been converted into SuperCasino. We do not list Guts as an active casino, and our affiliate agreement with it was breached.

Guts launched in 2013 and became a familiar name for Kiwi players. Today, guts.com no longer opens a Guts casino. It sends you to SuperCasino, which is a separate brand.

Why Guts Is Suspended on Topboss Group

We suspended Guts after the casino stopped working with affiliates. That ended the agreement under which we listed the brand. As a result, we no longer recommend Guts, and we cannot vouch for how the brand treats players.

A suspension is different from a closure. The Guts name has not simply vanished. Instead, the players and the brand were moved to a new site under a new name.

What this means for you. You cannot play at Guts any more. If you still have an old Guts login, check the SuperCasino terms before you deposit anything.

What Happened to Guts Casino

Gaming Innovation Group launched Guts in May 2013. Betsson Group bought the brand in April 2020. Its Zecure Gaming unit then ran Guts and refreshed the look in April 2022.

Today, the guts.com address leads to SuperCasino. The SuperCasino site says it is taking over where Rizk and Guts left off. It says it combines features of both brands with its own.

SuperCasino names BML Group Limited as its operator. It lists a Malta Gaming Authority licence, number MGA/B2C/108/2004, issued on 16 October 2025. Our page on the Malta Gaming Authority explains what that regulator does.

Is SuperCasino the Same Casino?

The site calls itself a new platform. It has its own bonus, its own games and its own terms. A Guts account is not the same thing as a SuperCasino account.

The Guts offer we described in the past does not carry over. Bonuses, wagering rules and withdrawal limits belong to the current operator. Always read them before you accept anything.

Our guide to accepting online casino bonuses explains how to check wagering, maximum bets and time limits in plain English.

Kiwi players should also check that NZ dollars are accepted and which payment methods work from New Zealand. These details can change when a brand moves to a new operator.

Take a screenshot of the bonus terms on the day you sign up. That gives you proof if the terms change later.

If You Had a Guts Account

Start by checking your email for any notice about the move. Then look for your last balance and your transaction history.

Next, use only the contact details on the official site. Do not answer messages that ask for passwords, card numbers or a fee. Genuine casinos never ask for those.

Finally, make a small first deposit if you try the new site. Test a withdrawal early so you know how it works.

What Guts Offered Before the Switch

Our earlier review described a large library of pokies, table games and live dealer titles. It named studios such as Microgaming, NetEnt, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Red Tiger and Evolution. We cannot confirm any of this list on the current site.

Pokies and Table Games

The pokies mix included classic, video and jackpot titles. Table fans could play blackjack, roulette, baccarat and poker variants. Our page on NetEnt slots and casinos covers one of the studios involved.

Live Casino

The live lobby used Evolution studios, with games such as Monopoly Live. You can read more in our guides to Evolution live casinos and live dealer gaming.

Banking and Support

Our earlier review listed Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, POLi and bank transfer. It also described 24-hour live chat and email help. SuperCasino lists Visa, Mastercard, Skrill and Neteller, with support by live chat, email and call-back.

Questions to Ask About Any Rebranded Casino

Casinos change names often. A new name can mean a better site, but it can also mean a fresh start after a poor record. Ask a few simple questions before you play.

  • Who runs the casino, and what is the company registration number?
  • Which regulator issued the licence, and can you find it on the regulator site?
  • Do the bonus terms match what the advert said?
  • Do your old account details and balance carry over, or do you start again?
  • How long do withdrawals take, and are there limits?

If you cannot answer these, treat the site with care. A short test deposit and withdrawal will tell you a lot. Our page on why players trust Topboss Group explains how we judge casinos.

Why Licences and Ownership Matter

A licence shows that a regulator has approved the operator. It also gives players a place to take a complaint. However, licences differ in strength, and some regulators act faster than others.

Ownership matters too. When a big group runs a brand, players can look up the company and its record. When a brand changes hands or changes name, that trail can get harder to follow.

That is why we check the operator, the licence number and the terms on every review. We also look at how an operator treats its partners. Treating affiliates fairly is a sign of how it may treat players.

Red Flags to Watch For at Any Casino

These warning signs often appear before a casino lets people down. Spotting them early can save you money and stress.

  • Slow or missing replies from support when you ask a simple question.
  • Withdrawal delays that keep growing, or new rules that appear after you win.
  • Bonus terms that change after you have claimed an offer.
  • A website that moves address or changes its name without notice.
  • A licence that you cannot find or check with the regulator.

One red flag does not always mean trouble. However, several together are a good reason to stop depositing. Withdraw what you can and move on.

What to Do if a Casino Will Not Pay

First, keep calm and keep records. Save every email, chat log and screenshot. Note the dates, amounts and any ticket numbers.

Second, contact the casino in writing and set out your complaint clearly. Give the casino a reasonable time to reply. Many problems are fixed at this stage.

Third, if the casino does not respond, look at the licence in the site footer. Some regulators accept player complaints. Others do not, so check before you spend time on a claim.

Finally, share your experience with other players. Honest reviews help people avoid the same mistake.

Playing Safely Online

Set a budget before you start and treat it as the price of your entertainment. Never chase losses, and never borrow money to play.

Use deposit limits where the casino offers them. Take regular breaks, and keep each session short. If gambling stops being fun, step away and seek support.
