Diamond Fiesta Slot Overview
Diamond Fiesta is a Day of the Dead slot from RealTime Gaming. RTG’s games are now supplied by SpinLogic Gaming, which still lists Diamond Fiesta on its website. The game celebrates Mexico’s famous festival, with skeletons, mariachi music and plenty of colour.
SpinLogic lists the game as medium volatility, with 50 fixed paylines on 5 reels. The top award is 800 times your bet per line. It’s also eligible for free spins, which matters because RTG casinos often give free spins on named games.
The main twist is the expanding reels. Land diamonds in the right places, and the grid grows from 5×3 all the way up to 8×4. Diamonds also lead to a hold and respin jackpot feature.

Theme and Design
Diamond Fiesta takes you into the heart of a Day of the Dead celebration. Painted skulls, bright flowers and mariachi musicians fill the reels. The festive music adds to the party atmosphere.
Our original review praised the graphics, animation and sound. It said they stood out from many other Mexican-themed slots. Señor Skeleton, the game’s wild, is a memorable host.
Paylines, Betting and RTP
SpinLogic lists Diamond Fiesta with 50 fixed paylines. All lines are always in play, so you don’t need to choose how many to bet on.
Our original review listed a minimum bet of $0.25 and a maximum of $50. SpinLogic doesn’t publish the RTP or bet range on its game page. Check the help screen at your casino for the exact figures.
SpinLogic rates the game as medium volatility. That means a fair balance between how often it pays and how big the wins can be.
Diamond Fiesta Symbols
Our original review listed these symbols:
- Señor Skeleton: the wild, which substitutes for regular symbols.
- Diamond skull: the scatter that triggers the free spins.
- Diamonds: special symbols that power the jackpot and expanding reels features.
- Mariachi, chilli peppers, maracas and tequila bottles: the higher-paying symbols.
- 9 to Ace: the lower-paying card royals.
SpinLogic lists the top award as 800 times your bet per line. That’s the biggest single prize from the regular symbols.
Diamond Fiesta Bonus Features
Here’s an overview of the features in our original review:
- Expanding reels: diamonds in the corners grow the grid up to 8×4.
- Jackpot Diamond Feature: 6 or more diamonds trigger respins with prizes and jackpots.
- Free spins: 3 or more diamond skull scatters award free spins.
- Day of the Dead Skulls: extra spins with more scatters, wilds and diamonds.
Expanding Reels
This is Diamond Fiesta’s signature feature. Our original review said landing diamonds in the four corners of the grid makes the reels expand.
The grid grows in stages: first to 6×3, then 6×4 and finally 8×4. A bigger grid means more symbols on screen and more chances to land wins and diamonds.
Jackpot Diamond Feature
Land 6 or more diamonds anywhere on the reels to trigger this feature. You get 3 respins, and every diamond on screen stays in place.
When the respins end, each diamond reveals a prize. Some diamonds can reveal one of the jackpots. Our original review mentioned Mini and Major jackpots among the prizes.
Free Spins
Three or more diamond skull scatters trigger the free spins. In our original review, the scatters awarded 6 free spins, which could retrigger.
How to Play Diamond Fiesta
- Check the help screen: confirm the RTP and bet range at your casino.
- Set your stake: all 50 lines are always in play.
- Spin the reels: wins pay along the fixed paylines.
- Collect diamonds: they can expand the reels or trigger the jackpot respins.
- Find the diamond skulls: three or more start the free spins.
Who Is Diamond Fiesta Best For?
Diamond Fiesta suits players who like busy, colourful slots with several features. The expanding reels and diamond respins keep the base game interesting.
It’s a good fit if you:
- Play at RTG casinos: it’s a well-known title in the RTG library.
- Like medium volatility: a balance between frequent and bigger wins.
- Enjoy festive themes: the Day of the Dead look is bright and fun.
Where to Play Diamond Fiesta
Diamond Fiesta is available at casinos that carry RTG and SpinLogic games. Our guide to RTG slots and casinos lists sites that use the studio. In South Africa, our Springbok Casino review covers a popular RTG casino with rand banking.
Game lobbies change over time, so search for Diamond Fiesta before you deposit.
Playing on Mobile
Our original review said the game works on desktop and mobile. It runs in your phone’s browser at casinos that carry RTG games.
What We Changed in This Review
- Verified figures: we’ve confirmed the volatility, paylines, top award and free spins eligibility with SpinLogic Gaming.
- Top win: our original review said up to 800x your stake. SpinLogic lists 800 times your bet per line.
- Studio name: we’ve added that RTG’s games are now supplied by SpinLogic Gaming.
Tips for Playing Diamond Fiesta
- Watch the corners: diamonds in the four corners make the reels expand.
- Count your diamonds: 6 or more trigger the jackpot respins.
- Keep your stake steady: medium volatility rewards patient play.
- Look for free spins offers: RTG casinos can include this game in free spins bonuses.
- Set a budget: decide how much you’ll spend before you start.
How the Expanding Reels Change the Game
Most slots keep the same grid on every spin. Diamond Fiesta is different. As the grid grows, more symbols fit on screen.
| Grid size | Symbols on screen |
|---|---|
| 5×3 (start) | 15 |
| 6×3 | 18 |
| 6×4 | 24 |
| 8×4 (maximum) | 32 |
More symbols mean more chances to form wins and land diamonds. At the maximum 8×4 size, the game has more than twice as many symbols as the starting grid. That’s what makes the feature so exciting.
About RTG and SpinLogic
RealTime Gaming is one of the oldest names in online slots. Its games are now supplied under the SpinLogic Gaming name. SpinLogic’s website still lists Diamond Fiesta among its available games. You’ll find RTG and SpinLogic titles at many casinos that serve players in South Africa, the US and other markets.
Who Should Skip Diamond Fiesta?
Diamond Fiesta isn’t for everyone. If you prefer very simple slots, the expanding reels and respins may feel busy. Players chasing huge jackpots may also want a game with a bigger progressive prize.
Understanding the Top Award
SpinLogic lists the top award as 800 times your bet per line. That’s different from 800 times your total stake. With 50 lines, your bet per line is a small part of your total bet. So, always check how a game measures its top prize before comparing it with other slots.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Expanding reels up to 8×4
- Jackpot Diamond respins with prizes
- Free spins eligible at RTG casinos

Our Verdict
