Casino Las Vegas Review: Now Closed

Casino Las Vegas opened in 2002 and was one of the longer-running Playtech online casinos. It was run by ElectraWorks Ltd and held Gibraltar and UK licences. The casino is no longer in operation.

Status: Closed. The Casino Las Vegas website now says the casino is no longer in operation. We no longer promote it, so please do not try to deposit.

What Happened to Casino Las Vegas?

When we visited casinolasvegas.com in October 2026, we found a single notice. It says Casino Las Vegas is no longer in operation. It also tells players to email the casino’s support address to ask questions or to withdraw any remaining funds.

The notice does not give a closing date or a reason. We have not found a statement from the operator that explains either one. For that reason, we do not guess at the cause here.

What matters for players is simple. The casino is closed, and the only route to any leftover balance is through that support address.

What Casino Las Vegas Used to Offer

The details below describe the casino as it was when it was open. None of it is available today.

A Las Vegas Theme

The lobby sorted games into clear categories. It used a backdrop of Las Vegas images. The aim was to give players a Las Vegas feel, with an eye on hot slots. We also kept a guide to the best casinos to visit in Las Vegas for readers who prefer the real thing.

Slots

The slot list mixed old classics with modern video slots. Movie fans could play titles based on Grease, Rocky, Robocop and The Gladiator. Other games included The Three Musketeers and A Night Out.

Table Games

Blackjack came in several forms. One was Blackjack Stravaganza, a single-player game. Caribbean Stud Poker was also on offer.

Roulette fans could pick from 3D Roulette, American Roulette and Roulette Pro. There was video poker too.

Arcade Games

The arcade section had scratch cards, bingo, Jackpot Darts, Dice Twister and Keno. These were quick games for a break between longer sessions.

Live Casino

The live section featured professional dealers. Games included Live Casino Hold’em, French Roulette, Live Baccarat and 3 Card Brag Live.

Bonuses and Promotions

Our last record described a welcome package with no-deposit spins and 50 free spins on registration. The casino also ran daily promotions, including deposit bonuses, free spins, Roulette Golden Chips and cashback.

All of these offers have ended with the casino.

Banking

Players could deposit with Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, WebMoney, prepaid cards and online banking. Progressive jackpots were paid in a single transaction after processing.

Mobile and Support

The mobile site worked well on Apple and Android devices. Support ran around the clock by phone, email and live chat.

What to Do if You Still Have Funds

The casino’s own notice gives one route. Follow these steps:

  1. Email the support address shown on the casino website, which is support@casinolasvegas.com.
  2. Give your username, the email on your account and the date of your last deposit.
  3. Attach screenshots of your balance or old statements if you have them.
  4. Keep a copy of every message you send and receive.
  5. Do not pay anyone who offers to recover your money for a fee.

If you do not get a reply, ask your bank or payment provider what options you have. You can also contact the regulator named in the casino’s licence.

Licence and Safety

Casino Las Vegas held licences from the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner and the UK Gambling Commission. Both are respected regulators. Players at licensed casinos usually have somewhere to take a dispute.

If you have a complaint, contact the regulator that licensed the casino when you played.

Why Older Casinos Close

A long history does not guarantee a casino will stay open. Owners merge brands, change platforms or drop smaller sites. Rules and costs also change.

Players rarely get much warning. For that reason, it is wise to withdraw your winnings often. It also helps to avoid leaving large balances in any casino account.

Treat your casino balance like cash in your pocket, not money in a bank.

Why Players Liked Casino Las Vegas

Casino Las Vegas had a loyal following for good reasons. It had been online for many years, so players knew the brand. The Las Vegas theme made it easy to recognise, and the Playtech games ran smoothly.

The movie-themed slots were a big draw. Players who liked Hollywood branding could spin titles based on films they knew. The arcade games added a lighter touch for players who wanted short sessions.

If you enjoyed this style, look for a casino with a clear theme and a good mix of slots, tables and live games. Also check that it supports your currency and your preferred payment method.

What Replaces a Closed Casino in Your Routine

When a favourite casino closes, it can feel like losing a local pub. You may miss the games, the bonuses and the familiar lobby. That is normal.

Take your time before you pick a new site. Read the licence details and bonus terms first. Then start with a small deposit. A slow, careful move is better than rushing into the first offer you see.

It also helps to spread your play across more than one trusted casino. That way, one closure never leaves all your funds in a single place.

How Licensed Casinos Handle Disputes

Licensed casinos must follow rules about player complaints. In most cases, you should first write to the casino and give it a fair chance to reply. If that fails, you can take the complaint to the regulator or an approved dispute service.

UK-licensed casinos had to offer an alternative dispute resolution service. That route can help when a casino closes or refuses to pay. However, a casino that has shut down may not respond at all. In that case, the regulator named in the licence is the best next step.

Our page on casino complaints explains how to write a clear complaint and what to include.

Keeping Records in Case a Casino Closes

Good records make a big difference when a casino shuts. Without them, it is hard to prove what you deposited or won.

  • Save the welcome email and your username.
  • Keep screenshots of large wins and withdrawal requests.
  • Download account statements if the casino offers them.
  • Store your bank or e-wallet receipts in one folder.
  • Note the date of your last login and deposit.

It takes only a few minutes each month. If a casino ever closes, you will be glad you did it.

How to Choose a Safe Online Casino

A few checks can protect you. Use them every time you join a new site:

  • Find the licence details at the bottom of the page.
  • Confirm the licence on the regulator’s own website.
  • Read the bonus terms, including wagering and cash-out limits.
  • Test a small deposit and a small withdrawal first.
  • Look for live chat and clear contact details.

Our guide to casino welcome bonuses explains how to read bonus terms.

Keeping Your Gambling Under Control

Gambling should be fun. Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Never use money you need for bills. Take regular breaks.

Most casinos offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools. Our responsible gambling page has more support.
