What Is the Fire Blaze Suite?
Playtech launched the Fire Blaze Jackpots suite on 29 April 2019, with Sky Queen as the first game. The suite is a series of games with ancient culture and fantasy themes. Playtech says more releases were planned through that year.
Every Fire Blaze game includes a hold and respin feature. Special symbols lock in place and award prizes. New symbols that land during the feature add more prizes and more respins.
Each game also has a different second feature. In Blue Wizard, our earlier review said the second feature is a free games round with multiplier wilds. That is a good example of how the suite keeps each game fresh.
Theme and Look
The mood is mystical. A blue robed wizard stands in a world of spells and potions. Our earlier review described an owl, a spell book, a cauldron and a ring among the symbols.
Low value symbols are card suits. A moon symbol plays a special role in the bonus. A castle acts as the scatter.
The look suits players who like fantasy slots. It is bright, clear and easy to read on a phone.
Wilds and Symbols
According to our earlier review, the wizard is the wild. It replaces most symbols but not the scatter or the crystal ball. It helps you finish lines when a symbol is missing.
The same review listed some of the paytable values for five symbols on a line. The owl paid 6 times your bet. The cauldron paid 3.33 times, the spell book 2.5 times and the ring 2 times. Card suits paid 1.33 times.
Those numbers help show the scale of base game wins. They are modest. As a result, most of the excitement comes from the bonus features.
Free Games With Multiplier Wilds
Our earlier review said three or more castle scatters start the free games. It said three, four or five scatters pay 1, 10 or 50 times your bet. It also said you receive 6 free spins.
During this round, a wizard wild on reel three can carry a multiplier. Our earlier review listed values of 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x. The multiplier applies only when the wild is part of a win.
The review also said the round can retrigger for another 6 spins. It said six moon symbols can start the Fire Blaze respins from inside the free games. We could not confirm these details from Playtech, so use them as a guide only.
The Fire Blaze Respins and Jackpots
The suite feature works the same way in every game. Special symbols lock in place and show prizes. In Sky Queen the symbols are suns, and in Blue Wizard our earlier review said they are moons.
Playtech confirms the jackpot structure for the suite. There are four tiers: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. A jackpot star symbol guarantees one of the first three. Together they are worth up to 500 times the total bet.
The Grand jackpot is worth 2000 times the original stake when the special symbols fill every position. Our earlier review gave the same 2000 times figure for Blue Wizard.

Our earlier review gave an RTP of 96.50% and described the game as highly volatile. It also gave a bet range of $0.10 to $500. Playtech’s materials we could open do not list these for Blue Wizard.
