Euro Moon Casino Review: Blacklisted
Why we blacklisted Euro Moon, what we can verify, and safer casinos to play at instead
Euro Moon Casino Is Blacklisted
Topboss Group has blacklisted Euro Moon Casino (also written as Euromoon Casino). We do not recommend opening an account, depositing money or claiming any bonus there. If you are looking for somewhere to play, see our safer alternatives further down this page.
Euro Moon Casino launched in 2015 and was aimed mainly at European players. At first, it looked like many other online casinos. It offered slots, table games, scratch cards and big welcome bonuses, all through instant play in your browser.
Over time, however, serious problems came to light. Several independent casino watchdog sites placed Euro Moon on their blacklists. Players also reported declined withdrawals and confiscated winnings. For these reasons, we have updated this page to warn players and explain what we know.

Why We Have Blacklisted Euro Moon Casino
We don’t blacklist a casino lightly. In Euro Moon’s case, several serious concerns have built up over many years. Here are the main ones.
Counterfeit Games
The most serious issue involves the games themselves. In 2016, independent watchdog site LCB blacklisted Euro Moon and its sister casinos. According to LCB, the group had been offering counterfeit copies of games from well-known studio NetEnt.
A player reportedly uncovered the problem by comparing the Hall of Gods progressive jackpot at Euro Moon with the same game at a trusted casino. The figures didn’t match. LCB also reported that the group removed some Novomatic games after being asked to, but the casino stayed on its blacklist.
This matters a great deal. Genuine games are tested so that their results are fair and random. With a fake copy, there is no way to know how the game really behaves or whether it pays out as advertised.
Topboss Group view: a casino that runs unlicensed copies of famous games has broken one of the most basic rules of fair play. That alone is enough for us to warn players away.
Withdrawal and Bonus Complaints
Euro Moon also attracted a long list of player complaints. Reported problems include declined withdrawals, confiscated winnings and disputes over bonus rules. Some players said the casino used unclear bonus terms to refuse payouts.
In one case reported by LCB, a player’s winnings were held because an extra e-wallet deposit bonus was treated as a separate bonus. That meant the player had unknowingly broken a maximum bet rule. An agreement was eventually reached, but only after a long delay.
Other review sites have listed further complaints, including alleged changes to game history and slow or capped withdrawals. We can’t confirm every individual case. Even so, the overall pattern is clear and worrying.
Problems Across the Whole Group
Euro Moon did not operate alone. It was reportedly part of a group run by Game Tech Group N.V. and promoted through the AffPower affiliate programme. Several sister casinos from the same group have also been blacklisted by watchdog sites.
When problems appear across a whole group of casinos, it suggests a wider issue with how they are run. For that reason, we advise caution with any casino linked to the same operator.
What We Can and Can’t Verify
We always aim to be clear about what is confirmed and what is not. Euro Moon’s own website blocks automated checks, and we were unable to review it directly. As a result, much of the information on this page comes from independent player-protection and casino watchdog sites.
Here is a summary of where things stand:
- Blacklisting: confirmed across several independent watchdog sites, including LCB, ThePOGG and Casino City.
- Counterfeit NetEnt games: reported by LCB in 2016 and widely repeated since.
- Licence: the casino claimed a Curaçao licence, but we could not verify it on a regulator’s register. At least one tracker lists it as having no licence from any authority.
- Closure: one tracker reports the casino has not been active since 14 April 2025. We could not confirm this directly.
Our older review of Euro Moon described it as a trustworthy casino with a valid licence and excellent support. Given everything above, that description no longer holds, and we have replaced it.
Is Euro Moon Casino Still Open?
At least one casino tracker reports that Euro Moon stopped accepting players in April 2025. However, blacklisted casinos sometimes come back online under new web addresses. They can also reappear with a slightly different name or design.
For that reason, our advice stays the same whether the site is open or closed. Please don’t register or deposit at Euro Moon or any site that looks like it. If you come across a casino with a very similar name or look, treat it with great care.
What Euro Moon Used to Offer
For reference, here is a summary of what Euro Moon advertised during its time online. Please keep in mind that the authenticity of some branded games at the casino was questioned, as explained above.
| Category | Games advertised |
|---|---|
| Blackjack | Pirate 21, Pontoon, 21 Burn, Super 7, VIP Blackjack, Blackjack Switch, Blackjack Surrender |
| Roulette | Zero Spin, VIP Salon Privé, American, Micro, Roulette Premium, Roulette Pro |
| Slots | Dracula, Scarface, Cash Stampede, Spin Sorceress, More Gold Diggin’, Zombies, Magic Forest, Lucky Fruits, Pharaoh Fortune |
| Poker games | Red Dog, Poker Three, Oasis, Pai Gow, Caribbean, Hold’em |
| Scratch cards | Chicken Coop, The Safe, Lucky Day, Pin-Up Scratch, Soccer Match, Zodiac Signs |
| Other games | Keno, Baccarat, Virtual Racebook 3D, Fortune Wheel |
The casino also promoted large welcome bonuses and claimed to offer 24/7 support. Many players, however, reported that the reality fell well short of these promises.
If You Have Money Stuck at Euro Moon
If you played at Euro Moon and still have a balance or a pending withdrawal, recovering it may be difficult. Still, there are a few steps worth trying.
- Stop depositing: don’t add more money in the hope of unlocking a payout.
- Keep records: save screenshots of your balance, chats, emails and transactions.
- Contact your payment provider: your bank or card issuer may be able to help, depending on how you paid.
- Use an independent complaint service: some player-protection websites run free complaint services for disputes with casinos.
- Protect your details: change any password you used at the casino, especially if you used it elsewhere too.

How to Avoid Casinos Like Euro Moon
Euro Moon is a reminder that a good-looking website doesn’t always mean a trustworthy casino. Before you sign up anywhere, run a few simple checks.
First, look for a licence from a well-known regulator. Bodies such as the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority set strict rules and can act when things go wrong. Our overview of global gambling regulations explains how licensing works around the world.
Next, check that the games come from known studios and that the casino is listed on those studios’ approved partner lists. Finally, read the bonus terms carefully, and search for player reviews and complaints. Our article on why unregulated casinos need reputable reviews goes into more detail.
