African Grand Casino Has Closed

African Grand Casino is no longer operating. The casino’s own website now redirects visitors to a closure page. That page says the casino is closed, is no longer active and is not accepting new players.

The closure page does not give a date or a reason. We therefore cannot say why the casino shut down or exactly when it happened. We will update this page if the operator publishes more detail.

This page keeps a record of what the casino offered. It also points you to open South African casinos that you can use instead.

Topboss Group verdict: African Grand Casino is closed and should not be used. Do not try to deposit. If you still held a balance or a pending withdrawal, contact the casino using the details on its closure page, and keep your account records.

What We Can Verify About the Closure

The casino’s main web address no longer opens a playable site. It sends you to a closure page instead. That page states that African Grand Casino is now closed.

It also says the casino is not accepting new players. The page gives no date, no reason and no refund instructions.

We have not seen any public statement about a sale, a merger or a rebrand. We therefore treat the closure as final.

How African Grand Casino Worked

African Grand launched in June 2019 and focused on South African players. Its lobby ran on Real Time Gaming (RTG) software. According to our earlier review, it offered more than 300 games.

Players could deposit in South African rand, which removed currency conversion fees. Bitcoin was also accepted. Our earlier review recorded 24-hour support. It ran by email, live chat and a South African toll-free number.

You can read more about this software on our page about South African RTG casinos.

Games the Casino Offered

All games came from RTG. The lobby covered video slots, table games, video poker, progressive jackpots and specialty games.

Popular jackpot slots included Aztec’s Millions, Megasaur and Spirit of Inca. Halloween Treasures was another favourite.

Table players found blackjack variants such as Face Up 21, Perfect Pairs and Pontoon. Roulette was limited to European and American versions.

Video poker included Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Joker Poker and Aces and Eights. Double Double Poker and Bonus Poker were also there. Each win offered a double-up option.

Promotions It Used to Run

The casino ran a mix of regular offers. We record them here for reference only, because none are available now.

  • EFT cash back: a cash back on losses for players who deposited by EFT.
  • Daily bonuses: a different bonus each day, sized by your deposit.
  • VIP programme: a tiered scheme with free bonuses, free spins, reload bonuses, cash back and larger withdrawal limits.

None of these offers can be claimed today.

Banking It Supported

The list below shows the deposit methods the casino supported while it was open.

  • EasyEFT
  • Visa Electron
  • Visa
  • MasterCard

Withdrawals went by bank transfer. According to our earlier review, the minimum withdrawal was R500. Payments were processed on set days, with a short holding period and weekly limits that depended on your VIP tier.

Currencies it accepted

The casino accepted two currencies.

  • South African Rand (ZAR)
  • Bitcoin

Mobile Play

The casino worked in a mobile browser on Android and Apple devices. You did not need to download an app. Desktop log-in details also worked on mobile.

What to Do If You Had an Account

Log in details no longer work, since the site is closed. Start by checking your email for any message from the casino.

Next, look for a contact address on the closure page. Send a short message with your username and the amount involved. Attach any screenshots or receipts you kept.
