Our decision is based primarily on our own direct commercial experience with the operator. We have also identified a number of additional concerns in public complaint records and current casino reviews.
Casino Midas was previously promoted on Topboss Group and had been listed positively on this page for a number of years. That recommendation has now been withdrawn.
We believe readers should know when an operator fails to meet its commercial obligations, particularly where there are also public complaints concerning withdrawals, account handling and terms and conditions.
Why We Blacklisted Casino Midas
The primary reason is simple: Casino Midas has failed to pay affiliate commission owed to Topboss Group.
We promoted the casino in good faith and generated exposure and referred traffic under its affiliate arrangement. When commission became due, payment was not made.
We do not continue recommending casino brands that fail to honour agreed affiliate payments. While affiliate disputes do not automatically mean that a casino will fail to pay players, they do raise serious concerns for us about reliability and commercial conduct.

Public Complaints and Other Concerns
Our own payment dispute is not the only concern we found when rechecking Casino Midas.
Casino Guru currently records dozens of complaints involving the operator. Reported issues include delayed withdrawals, disputed winnings, account closures and complaints involving responsible gambling or requests to close accounts.
Not every complaint resulted in a finding against the casino, and some cases were resolved or rejected. However, the number and nature of the complaints are enough that we believe players should read the available complaint history before depositing.
Withdrawal Complaints
Several publicly documented complaints have involved withdrawal delays or disputes over how much a player was entitled to receive.
Casino Guru also flags a relatively low weekly withdrawal ceiling of approximately €2,000. For players who win larger amounts, a low withdrawal limit can mean waiting weeks or months to receive the full balance.
Account Closure and Responsible Gambling Complaints
There are also public player reports alleging difficulties getting accounts closed, including cases where players said they had specifically requested closure because of gambling-related concerns.
These are player allegations rather than findings by Topboss Group, but responsible gambling complaints are something we take seriously when assessing an operator.
Questionable Terms and Conditions
Casino Guru currently identifies some Casino Midas terms as unfair.
One concern relates to inactive accounts. The review warns that balances may be removed or subjected to very substantial dormant-account deductions after a period of inactivity.
There are also bonus-related restrictions that Casino Guru believes should be enforced by the casino software itself rather than being used later as a reason to penalise players.
Players should therefore read the current Casino Midas terms carefully before accepting any promotion or leaving money sitting in an account.
Casino Midas Licensing
Casino Midas is currently reported as operating under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/494/0671.
A Curaçao licence does not make Casino Midas a licensed South African online casino.
The South African National Gambling Board states that interactive online casino gambling remains unlawful in South Africa. The exception is licensed online betting offered by South African bookmakers authorised by the relevant provincial gambling authority.

South African Players
Casino Midas should not be confused with a South African provincially licensed bookmaker or casino. Its offshore Curaçao licence does not provide the same local regulatory protection or dispute route available through South African gambling authorities.
Who Operates Casino Midas?
Current casino directories identify Casino Midas as being operated by Luckland Group B.V. under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/494/0671.
The brand has historically been associated with other RTG casino operations, and public complaint forums have also linked Casino Midas with brands such as Jack Million and Spin Samba.
Players should assess each operator independently rather than assuming that one brand’s history guarantees the conduct of another.
Is Casino Midas Still Operating?
Current information is somewhat inconsistent. Casino Guru continues to list Casino Midas as active and verifies its Curaçao licence, while AskGamblers currently marks the casino as closed.
Because of this conflicting information, we would not rely solely on third-party status labels when deciding whether to deposit.
For Topboss Group, the question is no longer whether the casino website can technically accept players. We have blacklisted the operator because of our unpaid affiliate commission and no longer recommend it.
What Casino Midas Previously Offered
Before we withdrew our recommendation, Casino Midas was known primarily as a Real Time Gaming casino offering slots, progressive jackpots, blackjack, roulette, video poker, keno and other casino games.
The casino also accepted South African Rand and historically promoted large welcome packages to South African players.
Those offers are no longer promoted by Topboss Group and any old bonus codes or promotional information on earlier versions of this review should be disregarded.
Should You Play at Casino Midas?
