Reel of Fortune Slot Overview
Reel of Fortune is a game show slot from Rival Gaming. The name is a playful twist on the TV classic Wheel of Fortune. The prizes, however, look like something from a 1970s game show.
Instead of cash, the reels show household goods and big-ticket rewards. You will see barbecues, food mixers, golf clubs, televisions, scooters and speedboats. The top prizes are a car and a motorhome.
The game plays on 5 reels with 20 paylines. It has no wild symbol. It has two scatters instead, and each one starts its own bonus game.

Theme and Design
Reel of Fortune plays like an old TV show. The reels sit on a stage, and the symbols are the prizes. It feels light-hearted and a little cheeky.
Our original review praised the retro symbols and the sound effects. The game does not take itself seriously. That is part of the fun.
Paylines and Prizes
You win by lining up matching prize icons across the 20 paylines. Each prize has its own coin value. Our original review listed this ladder, from lowest to highest:
| Prize symbol | Coins in our original review |
|---|---|
| Barbecue | 200 |
| Food mixer | 225 |
| Golf clubs | 250 |
| Television or oven | 400 |
| Fridge-freezer or scooter | 500 |
| Speedboat | 800 |
| Car | 1,000 |
| Motorhome | 1,500 |
These values are the top payouts for a full line. Smaller combinations pay less. Rival does not publish the bet range or RTP on a public page that we could find. Check the help screen at your casino for both.
Reel of Fortune Bonus Features
There are two scatter symbols, and each one opens a different bonus game.
Donkey Bonus Round
Three or more Curtain scatters trigger this round. You see three curtains on the screen and pick one.
One curtain hides the donkey. Choose that one and you walk away with the prize. It is a quick, simple pick game, and it fits the game show spirit perfectly.
Plunko Bonus
Three or more Plunko scatters trigger the Plunko Bonus. You nudge balls into a board of holes. Each hole is linked to a prize.
It works like a classic drop game. You aim, watch the ball fall and see where it lands. As a result, the round has a fun, hands-on feel.
How to Play Reel of Fortune
- Check the help screen: confirm the bet range and RTP at your casino.
- Set your stake: choose your coin value and bet.
- Spin the reels: prizes pay along the 20 lines.
- Look for Curtain scatters: three or more start the Donkey Bonus.
- Look for Plunko scatters: three or more start the Plunko Bonus.
Who Is Reel of Fortune Best For?
Reel of Fortune suits players who like light-hearted slots with interactive bonuses. Both bonus games let you take part, rather than just watch.
It is a good fit if you:
- Like retro themes: the 1970s game show look is the main attraction.
- Enjoy pick and drop bonuses: the curtains and Plunko board add variety.
- Want simple rules: there is no wild to learn and no complex bonus buy.
If you want free spins with multipliers, a different slot may suit you better.
Tips for Playing Reel of Fortune
- Learn the scatters: Curtain and Plunko each start a different bonus.
- Try the demo first: many casinos offer free play, so you can see both bonus games.
- Check the paytable: the prize values help you judge each symbol.
- Keep your stake steady: the bonuses can take a while to land.
- Set a budget: decide your limit before you start.
Why the Game Show Theme Works
Game show slots are popular because they feel familiar. Most people know the excitement of a spinning wheel or a pick-a-prize round. Reel of Fortune takes that feeling and puts it on the reels.
The retro prizes add humour. A speedboat or motorhome as a top symbol feels like a throwback. As a result, the game stands out from the usual Egyptian and fruit slots.
The two bonus games also help. Both are quick to play and easy to understand. You do not need to read long rules before you enjoy them.
