Theme and Game Design
The official screenshots show a snowy mountain setting filled with animal symbols, including buffalo, bear, cougar, eagle and raccoon. A fiery buffalo and the Inferno Core bring the fire theme into the reels. Low-paying symbols use card ranks from A to 10.
The Wild appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. It substitutes for ordinary paying symbols, but not Fire Ball Scatters, Buffalo Relics or Bonus Inferno Coins. The paytable distinguishes the highest-value beast symbol from its normal version.
RTP, Volatility and Payout Structure
The Play’n GO document lists RTP versions of 84.2%, 87.2%, 91.2%, 94.2% and 96.2%. The studio identifies 94.2% as the default configuration. Casino operators can use another approved setting, so check the displayed RTP in the live game.
The studio rates volatility at 7; the studio describes it as medium-high. The base game has five reels and 1,024 payways. Fire Reward Spins add another reel row, taking the total to 3,125 payways.
The rules list a bet range of 0.10 to 100 for a currency multiplier of one, applicable to EUR, USD and GBP in the technical document. Other currencies may use different multipliers or operator settings. Maximum exposure is listed as 5,000,000 in the technical sheet, with a probability below one in a billion. This is not a promised payout or a maximum-win multiplier.
Features and Bonus Mechanics
Inferno Core and Bonus Inferno Coins
Bonus Inferno Coins are collected by the Inferno Core when they appear. Reward Boosts have multipliers of x1, x2, x3, x4 or x5. Power Boosts are named Mini (x10), Minor (x25), Major (x250) and Grand (x1,000), and occur during Hold N’ Load rather than the base game. Mystery Boosts reveal a Reward or Power Boost during that feature.
Boost values apply to the total stake. Importantly, the studio states that the number of coins collected does not affect the outcome.
Hold N’ Load Bonus
Hold N’ Load may start at random when a Bonus Inferno Coin is collected during the base game. Only Bonus Inferno Coins land during the feature, and landed coins stick in place. You start with three re-spins, resetting to three when a qualifying coin lands in an active row.
The grid initially has locked rows. Rows 5, 6, 7 and 8 unlock after collecting 3, 10, 15 and 20 qualifying Bonus Inferno Coins respectively. Coins in locked rows or activated on unlocking do not reset the spin counter or contribute to further unlocks.
An Extra Boost can add three to five sticky x2 multipliers to positions; where one overlaps a Reward or Power Boost, the boost is doubled. The Grand can also land on the reels or be awarded by filling all symbol positions with Bonus Inferno Coins.
Inferno Storm
Inferno Storm begins when a Buffalo Relic lands on reel 3. It creates between three and twenty Fire Frames at random. Symbols caught within the frames turn into one type of beast symbol. During Fire Reward Spins, the Buffalo Relic can trigger an Inferno Storm variant with one to four Fire Frames that remain for the session.
Fire Reward Spins
Landing three Fire Ball Scatter symbols, which appear on reels 2, 3 and 4, starts eight Fire Reward Spins. The grid becomes one row taller, increasing the available payways to 3,125. Buffalo symbols change to Fire Beasts, which pay double. Each additional Fire Ball Scatter adds one spin, with a maximum of 47 Reward Spins.
